Fishing with us? What to expect. If you are driving to Bay Flats Lodge, plan to arrive between 3-4 P.M. for check-in.

1 Fishing with us? What to expect. If you are driving to Bay Flats Lodge, plan to arrive between 3-4 P.M. for check-in. Our staff will then move you into your room, give a tour of the facilities, and appetizers will be served out at the outdoor kitchen. Dinner will be served between 6:00 and 6:30 P.M. After dinner, you re welcome to relax in the rocking chairs on the deck, sit around the fire ring, play cards, washers, horse shoes, or tell stories in the outdoor kitchen. A hot breakfast will be served along with a continental breakfast between 5:00 and 6:30 A.M. After breakfast you will be met by two 6-passenger golf carts at the bottom stairs of the great room, and driven to our private docks at the end of our driveway where you will meet your guide for a daybreak departure. Lunch will be served on the boat and will consist of croissant sandwiches with plenty of meats and cheeses, Miss Vick s chips, chocolate chip and white macadamia nut cookies, with plenty of cold bottled water and soft drinks. The fishing day usually last 8 hours, after which you will be brought back to the lodge to shower and relax before your drive home, or stay over another evening at the lodge. From 87 in Victoria, turn Left onto Business 59/US 77 (Houston Hwy) traveling 1/2 mile, then turn right onto Highway 185 South (Bloomington HWY), just before the HEB, taking 185 south towards Seadrift. When you come to HWY 185 & HWY 35, take right on HWY 35, then immediate left back on HWY 185.

When you come to HWY 185 & HWY 35, take right on HWY 35, then immediate left back on HWY 185.

6 From Houston (approximately 150 miles) Take Highway 59 to Ganado Exit Highway 59 at Highway 172 Take Highway 172 South to Highway 35 Turn right and take Highway 35 through Port Lavaca to Highway 185 Turn left and take Highway 185 to Seadrift

7 From San Antonio (approximately 160 miles) Take Highway 87 South to Victoria. From 87 in Victoria, turn Left onto Business 59/US 77 (Houston Hwy) traveling 1/2 mile, then turn right onto Highway 185 South (Bloomington HWY), just before the HEB, taking 185 south towards Seadrift. When you come to HWY 185 & HWY 35, take right on HWY 35, then immediate left back on HWY 185.
