1 Resort Excursions For those looking to elevate their experience at Sailrock Resort, these excursions are the perfect adventure for individuals, couples or small groups. Advance notice is required and pricing is dependent on activity, as well as the number of participants. Excursions are subject to 10% service charge, 12% government tax and a cancellation fee. Snorkeling Adventure Take a peek under the turquoise waters of Admiral s Aquarium where you will discover the abundant marine life that has placed South Caicos as a top diving destination choice by Scuba Diving Magazine. This environmentally-protected marine park hosts a diverse population of tropical fish with possible sightings of spotted eagle rays, sea turtles and more. 2 Guided Dragonfly Paddle Board or Kayak Tour Explore South Caicos from the deck of a paddleboard or kayak! This exciting tour gives you the chance to interact with Mother Nature as you paddle along the coastline of Bell Sound, sighting many local and migratory birds, fish and perhaps even a sea turtle. You ll also have a chance to snorkel an intertidal reef system that provides shelter to many marine species. 3 Guided South Caicos Island Tour Hop in and cruise the island in this vehicle tour of the sites of South Caicos! This tour will include a tour of the old wells and Salinas which put South Caicos on the map during the salt trade. Here you will see flamingos, donkeys, horses and indigenous birds. When we move through the original downtown known as Cockburn Harbour, you will see the old Bermudian buildings and ruins that were used when salt was king! 4 Airboat Bone Fishing Charters South Caicos is one of the world s most renowned bone fishing destinations due to its miles of pristine shallow water flats. Let Beyond the Blue shuttle you on a magic carpet ride with one of their airboats to these glorious white sands where you will have the thrill of stalking and casting as you wade after the elusive Gray Ghosts and then experience their 30 mph runs once you re hooked up. No previous fishing experience necessary. Both spinning rods and fly rods are available upon request. If you are interested in learning to fly-fish, we offer instruction with one of our world-class fishing guides. 7 Offshore Fishing Charters The waters off of South Caicos island change color from a turquoise blue to a deep Azul as the ocean bed takes a drop from 60 feet to 7000 feet deep! This unique drop puts normally far offshore species within close fishing range to South Caicos. Troll in a 45 Hatteras Sport Fisherman aboard Beyond the Blue s Legacy fishing for tuna, dolphin and wahoo. Along the way, you might see populations of majestic tropic and frigate birds as well as diving terns marking areas of surface bait pods. 9 Sea Turtle Safari with D&G Sea turtles have been around since the time of the dinosaurs 150 million years ago and they can live to be 100. 10 Golf (in Providenciales) The Provo Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course in Providenciales, named one of the Caribbean s Top 10 golf courses by Golf magazine. Arrangements can be made with Guest Services for transportation to and from Sailrock Resort to Providenciales for a golf experience during your stay.
