The Lake s Fun, Family Friendly, Affordable Course Forward Tees, Playable, Welcoming, Open to the Public Whether you are a beginner or expert...you walk or use a cart...you play with a group or by yourself...our course is for you. Challenging, yet forgiving... steeped in tradition, yet excited about the future...a club for the young and the young at heart...a club for EVERYONE. Greetings from the Board of Directors! The Draft Tournament Pairing Party is Friday November 3 and Saturday November 4. The signup sheet is in the Golf Shop. We also have Scott s Revenge tournament on Sunday November 5 please sign up in Golf Shop. We have many social events coming up please mark your calendars. November 17 is Trivia night at Lake Valley please get your team of six signed up for this event. A spaghetti dinner will be available too just watch for the signup sheet in the bar. Wendy Warner s Variety Show will be showing at Lake Valley on November 18 at 8:00 p.m. There is limited seating with tickets available at $12 each. The tickets may be purchased at the bar or from one of the Social Committee members. Please check the Lake Valley Golf and Country Club website for additional information! The next Board of Directors Meeting will be on Wednesday, November 15 at 6:00 p.m. We would like to invite any and all members to attend a meeting. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact any one of the board members.

Please sign up by Tuesday afternoon each week. Newsletter Info. We have officially begun to have frosty mornings here at the course. If you have a morning tee time and notice frost outside, please be aware that you may be under a frost delay. Call The Golf Shop to find out if and when a frost delay is under effect. Fall Draft - November 4th Mission Impossible - November 5th Bunco Come have fun with us! Bunco schedule change: Bunco will be held on Thursday, November 30th. We will have our Christmas party that night. Bring a snack to share and we will eat at 6:00 PM. We will also have a gift exhange with a $15 limit (optional). Bunco will start at 7:00PM. The golf course was in great shape and beautiful as always. Kudos to Scott and his team for the great job they do and the endless hours they put in. Another huge Thank you to the 2017 Ladies League board: President Karen Kennedy, Vice President Maryellen Phillips, 18 hole chairpersons Evelyn Kautz and Donna Loghry, 9 hole chairperson Linda West. These ladies worked very hard for our league and it did not go unnoticed. Also a special Thank you to Andi Taylor for everything she does behind the scenes and in general putting up with us and Todd Nicklas just for being Todd. Men s Golf Association The men s stag night for November will be on the 21st. Lake Oasis/Phil Morgan is the bar sponsor. Menu: Shrimp Boil and homemade ice cream.
