1 Dear Prospective Interns, We re pleased to continue our strong Internship program at Interlachen Country Club for the 2015 golf season. The emphasis of this program is on personal and professional growth through cross-training and teamwork. Interns will be exposed to all aspects of a private club with the focus on the Golf Course Maintenance and exposure to our Food & Beverage and Golf Operation. Our internship program consists of 3 month or 6 month interns who take part in varying roles commensurate with interns experience. The goal of our internship program is to challenge each intern to grow both as a person and as a professional. Below are details of what interns can expect from the internship program. We look forward to hearing from interested interns who are motivated, self-starters and looking to grow in the golf industry. 3 Golf Course Maintenance Interns General Responsibilities: - Golf Course Maintenance - Pesticide Application - Irrigation Repair - Understand the entire operation thoroughly, including: Turf Management Plan Landscape Management Plan Environmental Program Budgeting Process: Operational and Capital Budgets Golf Maintenance Policies & Procedures Specific Responsibilities: 1. Golf Course Maintenance All Mowing Aspects Golf Course Set Up Cultural Practices 2. Pesticide Application Obtain MN Pesticide Application License Calibrate fertilize spreader and sprayer Apply Pesticides: Walking boom and Riding Sprayer Fertilize Application: Walking Spreader and Tractor Spreader 3. Irrigation System and Repair Basic Controller Operation: Toro Lynx Satellite Operation: Toro Network VP Pipe and Irrigation Head Repair Pump Station Operation: Flowtronics Portable Sprinkler set-up and hand watering techniques

4 Miscellaneous Roles: - Cross training with Food & Beverage team. - Cross training with Golf Operation team. Compensation and Benefits: - $ 13 to $15/hr - 2 meals provided daily, six days per week. - Playing privileges at the club. - Staff uniforms provided. Housing: - Housing available at the club.
