2 Dear Members, Atlantic Beach Country Club will be offering a member/guest shuttle service to the 2018 Players Tournament. The shuttle pick up and drop off points will be the ABCC Clubhouse Entrance and the TPC Clubhouse Entrance. Service Times for the Shuttle are Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday: Depart ABCC 9:00am 11:00am 1:00pm Depart TPC 4:00pm 6:00pm 8:00pm The cost per person per day is $32.00 round trip. 7 2018 Senior Member Guest May 3-5th Tournament Format Eligibility Members 55 and older Guest any age Format of Event Member/ Guest teams will be flighted by their weighted combined handicap index. Each team will play five (5) 9-hole matches against the other teams in the flight. Matches will follow a better ball match play format for points. The teams earning the most points in each division will be declared Flight Winners. Tees Players will play from the Loggerhead Gold tee markers. Players 70 years of age or older may play the green tees with a 2-stroke reduction. Overall Champions Flight Winners from all flights will compete in a shoot out to determine our Overall Champions. They will receive Jr. Lifeguard swag and get the opportunity to shadow a real lifeguard on the stand. Kids ages 8 and older who can swim 25 yards across the pool are eligible ABCC Snapping Turtles Swim Team Practice Coaches will focus on technique work with drills and endurance and speed with interval training. The practice will last an hour. This is a great introduction to year-round swimming. Practices vary from Wednesday & Friday 6pm-7pm and Saturday 8:30am-9:30am. $100 a month, $75 for 5 punch card practices, or $18 per drop-in.
