1 The European Golf Association together with The Bulgarian Golf Association and Pravets Golf Club have the great pleasure to welcome you to participate in the European Ladies Club Trophy. Pravets Golf & SPA Resort is located just 50 km away from the Sofia Airport - easily accessible with a 45 minute drive on the Hemus highway, yet distant enough from the daily stress of the big city. The 242 luxury rooms in the RIU Pravets Resort hotel, three fine restaurants, a SPA area of more than sq.m, a modern fitness centre, an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool provide a unique experience for the guests of the resort. Pravets Golf Club, offers a Peter Harradine designed 18-hole, par 72, Championship golf course and a state-of-the-art golf academy with an extensive practice area. This parklandstyle golf course boasts spectacular views of the local mountains and lake, framed by the impressive RIU Pravets Resort hotel. The par-three eighth hole is the signature hole with its challenging island green. The 9th and the 18th greens are joined in one double green, a well-known feature from the Old Course in St Andrews. 5 CHAMPIONSHIP CONDITIONS The championship shall be played under the Rules of Golf as laid down by The R&A, the EGA Hard Card, Generic Conditions and EGA specific tournament conditions (all available at : as well as the local rules approved by the Championship Committee at the championship. Please note, that the Groove Condition is in effect: The groove and punch mark Condition in Decision 4-1/1 of the Decisions on the Rules of Golf (page 68) is in effect. Please check the information available on the R&A website here: COMMUNICATIONS The use of handheld transceiver (walkie-talkie) for communication purposes between Team Captains, Team Advisors and Team Players, is prohibited. Penalty for Breach of condition: Disqualification of Team.

6 USEFUL INFORMATION Practice rounds for 2 and 3 October can be booked at info@pravets-golfclub.com Medical service will be provided during the whole championship. Golf bags can be stored at the golf club storage facility. The changing rooms are situated in the Clubhouse. The dress code for Opening and Closing Ceremonies is the official Team uniform. Driving Range will open daily from 7:00 Hotel Spa - Massage can be booked in advance or upon arrival. Pull-trolleys are available free of charge. Restaurant facilities are available at the Clubhouse. Payment of expenses at the hotel and golf club can be made by credit card.
