We will be hosting a raffle August 26 th thru September 5 th. All proceeds will be donated to the Folds Of Honor Foundation. There will be 4 prizes awarded from the raffle and the drawing will take place on September 6 th. HONORING THEIR SACRIFICE, EDUCATING THEIR LEGACY. Since 2007, the Folds of Honor has carried forth this singular, noble mission. To stand in the financial gap of the more than one million dependents adversely affected by war, providing educational scholarships to the children and spouses of those killed or disabled while serving our nation. PATRIOT GOLF DAY! For those unfamiliar with this special weekend, please look in to Patriot Golf Day and The Folds of Honor. We at the 500 Club will again be participating in this very special event. Raffle tickets cost $5 for 1 or $15 for 4 and all proceeds received from August 26 th through September 5 th will be given to The Folds of Honor and provide for the families of those who keep us free. The raffle prizes include: (1) $ Club Gift Certificate $ FJ Shoe Gift Certificate (1) $ Club Gift Certificate $ Oakley Sunglasses Gift Certificate RULES 101 Any doubt to a rule or procedure; please play two balls. Rules and Decisions will be discussed with the tournament committee after the completion of the round and prior to signing the scorecard. Questions about a possible rules infraction in the group whether it is your playing partner, opponent, or yourself; please approach the tournament committee after the completion of play. Hole # 4, 12 The Drop Zone does not apply to any Men s Association events. All water hazards at the 500 Club are played as later hazards. Obey the rules; protect the field!

3 2016 LADIES SUMMER GOLF CLINIC This program is geared towards Intermediate Ladies that would like to improve their game in a fun social and group environment. The group will consist of a maximum 4 ladies. Session: September 18 th, September 25 th, October 2 nd Cost: $99 per person Time: 10AM-11AM This 3 week program will cover all aspects of the game including putting, chipping, pitching, irons and the driver. Time will be left to recap all the skills learned and introduce a game-like setting so skills can be transferred to the course. Should the clinic times not work with your schedule, simply grab three other ladies to create your own ladies golf instruction clinic! Times for your ladies golf lesson clinic can be booked to suit your groups timing and needs. Drew Billow will be conducting the clinic. His philosophy is to keep the game simple. Drew will work on the mechanics of the golf swing and provide the student with a better understanding of the ball flight laws. Drew will not rebuild a golf swing, but rather address the proper set up and foundation to make a better golf swing. He helps his students understand the importance of the impact position which controls ball flight and direction. 2016 Futures Course Junior Club Championship Congratulations to our 2016 Junior Club winners who played some great golf over the two day event!

In the Tiger Division (12 and under) players played 27 holes for their prizes. Adam Miller was atop the leaderboard for both days shooting an even par 84!

In our Shark division players played 36 holes for the coveted trophies. Jack Pleskovitch came out atop with only a 3 over par for the both days!
