1 Greetings! On behalf of the Gift of Adoption Fund, I m excited and proud to announce our 9th Annual Rod Simons Golf For The Gift charity celebrity golf tournament. Please take a few minutes to review the attached materials and consider supporting our tournament for My wife Pam and I are proof that adoption is the gift of a lifetime. It brings new life to parentless children; new hope to the childless, and joy to families that extends through generations. We still can t even imagine our lives without our amazing 10-year-old, Annie, who came to us through the gift of adoption. We are a blessed family and this is why we are here. We re helping create families, to make their dreams come true, while also bringing awareness to the Twin Cities community that there are financial resources available to those wishing to build their families through adoption. The Gift of Adoption Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that turns the dream of adoption into reality for those who could not otherwise afford to adopt. There are so very many children waiting for parents to embrace and a place to call home. There are families who would open their arms and homes to a child in a heartbeat but are unable to do so simply because of the substantial financial costs involved in the process. The Gift of Adoption Fund makes it possible for many families who could not otherwise afford to complete the often lengthy and costly adoption process. Golf for the Gift will play on Thursday, June 23 at The Troy Burne Golf Club. The tournament will once again feature a fun 18-hole fivesome scramble format with a local sports or media celebrity paired with each sponsor s foursome, AND so much more is all included - lunch, dinner, beverages, deluxe player gift package, prizes, etc., at a spectacular Tom Lehman designed world class championship course.
