1 OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY EXTENSION 2018 HONOR CLUB Due: September 15, 2018 Club Date Received in Office A 4-H Honor Club is a club that earns 215 points or more out of a possible 307 (Section A) CLUB MANAGEMENT *Can earn up to 82 points maximum 10 Organization Date: All enrollment forms turned in to Extension office on or before February 15 = 10 points (All forms must be fully completed) 10 Membership: If number of members completing equals or exceeds the number in club completing last year = 10 points; if less than last year = 5 points; a newly organized club = 10 points 10 Percent Completion: Based on names enrolled in County Office on March 1: 100% - 10 points; 90% - 99% = 8 points; 85%-89% = 6 points 10 Quality of Project Work: Based on average project grade of club: Grade A = 10 points; A to B = 8 points 10 Average Attendance at Local Meeting: Based on number of club meetings beginning with organization meeting: % = 10 points 80 89% = 7 points 70 79% = 5 points 5 Secretary s Book: Completed and turned in to Extension office by September 15 5 Treasurer s Book: Completed and turned in to Extension office by September 15 5 Club Scrapbook: Completed and turned in to Extension office by September Winter Activities: Number of meetings held and recorded in Secretary s Book from September 1 thru February 28. Must turn in Secretary s Book/Minutes as proof (2 points per meeting). 5 New Enrollments: 5 or more new members (82 Pts. Max.)
