2 Company Background CE Golf Design is a division of Clark Enterprises, which is a family owned business that has been in existence since Todd Clark established the golf division in 1994 in order to provide golf course design and project management services for new and existing golf facilities throughout the United States. Brent Hugo and Rosemary Cuni joined the CE Golf Design team shortly thereafter, in 1995 and 1996 respectively. With our combined 30 years of experience, CE Golf Design has the ability to help our clients achieve their goals. Whether you are renovating an existing course or building a new golf course, our expertise and service will separate your project from the competition. It is through fundamental design philosophy and project administration that we are able to consistently produce ontime and under budget projects. We firmly believe that playability, aesthetics and environmental sensitivity should be the foundation of our design approach.

3 Renovation Services Design Development Renovation Master Plan This involves a comprehensive review of the golf course, including tees, fairways, roughs, hazards and greens. Meetings are held with the owner and membership to determine the long-range goals for the golf course. We meet with consultants regarding such considerations as drainage, irrigation, etc. The master plan document consolidates the information gathered with a hole-byhole analysis and recommendations. Golf Course Features When only limited areas of a facility need to be addressed, such as sand bunkers or golf cart paths, we make an assessment of the project to determine the scope of work. We consult with the owner and membership committee to define and outline the process of achieving the improvement objectives.

4 Construction Documents Plans The scope and timing of the project determine the detailed plans necessary to accurately describe the work to be completed. Some of these may include: Phasing Grading Drainage Grassing Green Details Cost Estimate Specifications Technical requirements are lined out in detail, as well as the responsibilities of the golf course owner, architect and builder. This provides a clear map of the project to achieve the goals as established in the design process. The detailed plans and specifications are used by golf course builders to create comprehensive, accurate bids. Bidding and Negotiation Multiple golf course builders can be chosen to bid a project or the contract sum can be negotiated with a selected builder. After we evaluate the bids for completeness and accuracy, we assist the owner in selecting a golf course builder and reaching a construction agreement.

5 Construction Observation Site Visits As work on the golf course progresses, the architect will be present on site to review what has been accomplished, make any necessary adjustments in the field and meet with the owner and the golf course builder. Pay Requests The architect will review and process Requests for Payment from the builder to confirm the work billed has been accomplished according to the project plans and specifications. Punch Lists As the work nears completion the architect will develop a list of remaining construction tasks and a time line for finishing them. Acting on behalf of the owner we are watchful of critical golf course dates.

6 Design Fees Fee Structure We do not maintain a standard fee for the services listed above. Fees are based on the scope of work and the amount of implementation assistance required. We welcome the opportunity to discuss potential renovation projects and present a formal proposal for design services.
