2 Page 2 El Capitan October 2013 September Speaker Terri Mejorado Fresno Chaffee Zoo Director of Marketing and Tim Ramsey gave a very Inspiring talk about our local zoo, it s future plans and the animals who live at the zoo.. Terri told us that the zoo will double in size in the next year and is creating an endowment fund for future financial needs, Tim displayed two live animals for our enjoyment, a 28 year old Great Horned Owl and a South American porcupine. Richard Ewell s SIR S SUNSHINE The October Sunshine News is as follows; SIR Ted Boosalis is recovering quite well from his bladder removal operation. SIR Mo Anderson will finish his Cemo treatments this week. Later this month, he will have exploratory surgery to determine if the cancer has disappeared from his bladder. The next George Lane Memorial poker game is at SIR Bob McClosky's home on October 29th. Buck, thanks, you did a good job in hosting the September poker game.
