Wherever possible, every dish is based on or includes organic and estate reared produce from Treetops Lodge & Estate, our sister lodge, set in 2000 hectares of native wilderness in nearby Rotorua. Here, the finest game birds and animals are raised in a natural environment. Specially selected heritage varieties of vegetables and fruit are tended organically. 8 Tom Long, Director of Golf Our Jack Nicklaus Signature golf links provide unique challenges based on the original Scottishstyle golfing on natural rugged terrain close to water. Experienced golfers consider every hole at this 18-hole, 72-par course something memorable, where a certain depth of mystery defies players to find their best shots. Rugged bunkers are strewn across the course and the fairways are contoured and conditioned for ground play. 10 JACK NICKLAUS Jack Nicklaus, arguably golf s greatest ever strategist has created a masterpiece. Every facet of Kinloch s design was thought through meticulously. Upon completion of the course Jack was asked to name its signature hole. He replied there isn t one, there are 18 signature holes here.
