Monday, June 20, 2016 at the Renaissance For over 17 years we have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars which we have used to provide support to deserving patients, survivors, families, caregivers and researchers to help them cope, care and fight the battle to stamp out Cancer. Since inception, our grants and awards total nearly $350,000! We are asking for your support so that we may reach an ambitious goal of raising $120,000. This past year our fund made grants totaling approximately $50,000 to families waging the physical, financial and emotional battle with cancer. We are excited to get our 3rd annual tournament underway and look forward to creating an exciting event that will differentiate our tournament from all others. We have enclosed our tournament application as well as a list of the various sponsorship opportunities we are offering. The package includes books of raffle tickets! 7 January 2016 RAFFLES, AUCTIONS, SPONSORS AND DINNER! Dear Friends: Plans are well underway for our 4th Annual golf outing, Monday June 20th. Last year s went so well we sold out in a few weeks requiring us to start a waiting list! We expect another sellout so don t delay and sign up early. Our tournament is one of the most talked about charity events on the North Shore and this year will be even better. In the enclosed material you will read about Marie and the fund that honors her while helping others. The past 2 years we set an ambitious goal to raise $100,000 and happy to report we exceeded that! More importantly we annually award over $45,000 in care giver awards, scholarships and financial support to patients and families in need while creating some very special memories. Some examples of how we make a difference includes the story of sending young a 7 year old cancer survivor Nolie Smith to Disney twice! We ARE making a difference. Not everyone is a golfer, but we know everyone wants to help patients cope with cancer and find a cure. We designed a tournament with something for everyone.
