2 Club Hours of Operation Clubhouse Kitchen 7:30am 8:00pm, Tuesday Sunday 11:00am 7:00pm Friday Sunday * Saturday Breakfast Buffets served from 7:30a 9:30a Pro Shop 7:30am 6:00pm Tuesday Sunday * Tee Times beginning at 8a Please keep our dress code in mind for the course as well as the club house: Collared shirts and golf shorts or pants are required. Please note our policy regarding play while there is lightning nearby. For the safety of our members and their guests, when lightning is within a 5 mile radius, we will sound the siren letting players know that the course will be closed at that time. All players must leave the course once the siren has been sounded. Jeans, cutoffs, gym shorts, and tee shirts are not allowed. Tennis shoes and golf shoes with soft spikes are appropriate. We also encourage a no cell phone policy in the clubhouse. Cell phone use is acceptable outside of the clubhouse and in the locker rooms. Ask us about the Unlimited Cart Plan! Any unpaid account at the end of each month will incur a finance charge of 1.5% of the total balance due and a $25.00 late fee will be billed to your account Accounts 60 days past due; the club shall suspend the members charging privileges. We have partnered with The Wellness Center in Macon to offer our members access to the facility at a discounted price! For $29/month per member, you can keep up with your health and wellness! Playing from green tees with 50% handicaps Green Valley Golf Group Please remember our partnership between The Brickyard and the Green Valley Golf Group. Our members have access to Green Valley Clubs at a discounted rate: $22 on weekdays and $30 on weekends. The Golf Shop can call and make tee times on your behalf. Green Valley Golf Group includes: Crystal Lake, The Providence Club, Heron Bay, and Georgia National The following clubs are available at different rates: Chateau Elan, Callaway Gardens, and Summer Grove From the Head Pro With the turning of the calendar from December 31 st to January 1 st there is a lot to think back on. There has been a lot of change for both myself and The Brickyard in We finished 2017 on a positive note with our First Annual Brick Cup, won by the team captained by Jason Hutcheson. We had lots of positives from 2017, lots of golf was played, lots of fun had and many memories made, the Brickyard is on the upward swing for We start off the year with the first event being the Bubba Scramble on Saturday, January 13 th. This is a fun event (you get one Bubba shot per hole) that hopefully everyone will come out to enjoy. There is a full calendar of events planned for 2018 and hopefully you can participate in all if not some of these events. 5 Golf News & Events Ladies Book Club Join us for our Ladies Book Club! The club will be meeting Tuesday, January 23rd at 5:30pm. It is open to all Brickyard members!! When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi A profoundly moving, exquisitely observed memoir by a young neurosurgeon faced with a terminal cancer diagnosis who attempts to answer the question: What makes life worth living? At the age of 36 and on the verge of creating a decades worth of training as a neurosurgeon, Paul Kalanithi was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer, and just like that, the future he and his wife had imagined evaporated. This memoir chronicles his transformation from a naïve medical student, into a neurosurgeon at Stanford working on the most critical place of human identity, the brain, and finally into a patient and new father confronting his own mortality. His words create an unforgettable, life-affirming reflection on the challenge of facing death and on the relationship between doctor and patient. January s meeting will mark 6 years of the Brickyard Book Club!! We have 16 members and add new members every year! Over these past six years, the ladies have read and discussed over 60 books!! 4

Join us on Friday nights in January for Happy Hour! From 5pm-8pm, we will have a themed buffet for $6/person along with half priced drinks! At the end of the night, we will also do a drawing for a $100 credit towards membership dues and a drawing for a free bar tab!
