Since the first official Cape Kaliakra Open in 2014, the event has not only become the most coveted prize in golf but also one of the biggest and greatest sporting events in the country. In 2019, this monumental battle will be in Cape Kaliakra Golf Destination, Bulgaria, a country home to some of the greatest food, culture and nature in the world. 7 LIGHTHOUSE GOLF COURSE As of 2016, Lighthouse Golf & SPA Resort is a proud member of PGA European Tour Destinations, a collection of the finest Golf venues in the world ( the 18th Member of European Tour properties). From 6th September to 9th September, 2018, the Lighthouse Golf & Spa Resort hosted a professional European Tour Senior Classic. Lighthouse Golf & Spa Resort welcomed golf professionals from all over the world at the age of 50 and over, led by world-renowned Ian Woosnam. The tournament was the only one of its kind in the world and culminated in the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the golf course, opened in September The winners were Magnus Atlevi (Sweden), Stephen Dodd (UK) and James Kingston (RSA). Lighthouse Golf Course is designed by the famous ex-ryder Cup Captain - Ian Woosnam. The championship golf course is of a links design. Contributing to the stunning scenery are the outstanding natural landscapes around which Ian Woosnam has created a brilliant selection of holes. The golf course is ranked 52nd in the European Golf Resorts Top 100 List and offers an exciting challenge to both professional players and amateurs alike. 9 BLACKSEARAMA GOLF COURSE Endless sea view from the height of 200 meters towards the magnificent and extremely diverse bay from Cape Kaliakra to Cape Galata of the Black Sea - this is BlackSeaRama, the first championship signature golf course in Bulgaria - 18 holes, par 72, length of 6648 meters - and the first completed project of Gary Player in Eastern Europe. 11 THE CAPE KALIAKRA OPEN CAPE KALIAKRA OPEN 2019 will be played in three rounds over 18 holes on three golf courses in three handicap divisions DIVISIONS: DIVISION A DIVISION B DIVISION C HCP FORMAT INDIVIDUAL STROKEPLAY, NET SINGLE STABLEFORD, NET SINGLE STABLEFORD, NET Please note that ALL PARTICIAPNTS MUST HAVE AN OFFICIAL HCP AND PROVIDE A HANDICAP CERTIFICATE FROM A CLUB BEFORE REGISTRATION. OTHERWISE THEY WILL NOT BE ENTERED INTO THE TOURNAMENT. Players with HCP higher than 36 will play off the maximum for the competition. Players will compete with ¾ of their playing HCP. The divisions will be determined by the exact HCP.

SARDAROV CUP 2019 THE MATCH WILL BE HELD BETWEEN A BAKAN & AN INTERNATIONAL TEAM: BALKAN TEAM INCLUDES REPRESENTATIVES FROM THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES ALBANIA, BULGARIA, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA, GREECE, MACEDONIA, ROMANIA, SERBIA, SLOVENIA, TURKEY, CROATIA AND MONTENEGRO. There will be 9 matches in total. Each pair gets a point for winning a match and half point for halving the match. The match will be held at Lighthouse Golf & Spa Resort on June 15th, the day before the final third round of CAPE KALIAKRA OPEN The winning team will get a floating hand-made trophy a copy of the Thracian treasure (cup of Abundance) made of 3 kilograms of pure silver. The names and the countries of the winners will be engraved on the cup. Each winner will also get memorable medals from pure silver.
