2 Players Guide - Matchplay League 2 Person Teams - Matchplay Head to Head - 11 Weeks of Head to Head Play: Each team will play each team in league once in a 9 hole match Teams will be guaranteed 14 matches (11 regular season, 3 playoffs) Points for each match: Winning teams will earn 4 points Matches that are halves,each team 2 pts Loss- 0 points Standings: Cumulative points will determine place in field. Top 8 teams will enter League Chanhassen Flight - Best Ball Matchplay Bottom 4 teams will play - Chaska Flight- Round Robin best ball Ties for final standings will be broken by(1) HTH match (2) total points earned in last 5 matches (3) coin flip Handicap Allocation: (USGA Recommend) - The pairings low handicap player(s) will receive zero - The remaining players will receive handicap allocation based on difference using Course Handicap (CH) Example below - Team Blue : A player 3 handicap adjusted to 0 handicap will receive 0 strokes B player 6 handicap adjusted to 3 handicap will receive strokes on 3 most difficult holes Team Red: A player 4 handicap adjusted to 1 handicap will receive 1 stroke on most difficult hole B player 9 handicap adjusted to 6 handicap will receive 6 strokes on 6 most difficult holes Optional Weekly $5 Game- Each week we will host a separate $5 cash game. Game will be a winner take all. Games will include Closest to Pin s, Long Putt, Straight drive etc You must pay and register each week to participate. 100% Cash payback. Subs- Subs are allowed and encouraged. Subs must have a USGA handicap to participate or will play to a zero. Please notify BCGC of any subs 1 day in advance. If you are not able to find a sub you may still compete using single score. No blinds or ghosts will be used. Subs points will be applied to primary player. Subs are eligible for cash games

3 Rules : USGA rules will govern play. A few new rules are live beginning in A brief description of these new rules will be covered on the first night of play. If you have a question on a ruling, play two balls and seek advice from golf professional. Be advised Matchplay rules sometime vary from medal play. LOCAL RULE: We will be implementing - the modern lost ball rule If your ball is lost or out of bounds, find an equidistant point on the edge of the fairway (your fairway reference point ) to where you believe your ball is either lost or went out of bounds (your ball reference point ) and then drop somewhere between the two, with a further two club lengths leeway (either side for a lost ball) under penalty of two strokes. Play will start on the WHITE TEES for all players. We will alternate front/ back sides each week Handicaps : We will be using the USGA Golf Genius League Manager program. This requires ALL players to have an active GHIN handicap. If you have a active GHIN at another facility, please share GHIN # on league application. Golf Genius League Manager. Using this software allows players to see upcoming events, pairings, results, points,handicaps and prize distribution in real time. A code will be provided to you to be able to login and see check out what's happening in the league.

4 Cancelation/Suspended play : We will play 14 weeks. Cancelled play: If play gets canceled due to weather prior to start of play, events will remain in same order until all 14 weeks have been completed. A decision to cancel play will be made 2 hours prior to play and information will be sent via and text. Suspension of play: if an event is active and severe weather is inevitable, Play will be suspended and completion of event will be made by BCGC staff. We will do our best to complete play on scheduled day. Events will be considered complete if ALL holes have been completed by ALL teams. Schedule: Matches will be determined at the beginning of season. Tee Times will be included in schedule. Tee times start at 5:24 and continue until 6:09. Changes to tee times must be made through Bluff Creek and be approved by all teams involved. Please make arrangements to play on scheduled day and time. Schedule and tee times will be posted on Golf Genius. Pace of Play: Arguably the most frustrating feature of any league is slow play. BCGC Men s league pace of play guideline are fair and very manageable by players: Play shall be completed in under 2 hours 20 minutes & Groups must not fall more than 1 hole behind the group in front of them. 1 verbal warning to catch up. 2nd verbal will result in 2 stroke penalty If teams are constantly being warned for slow play, a deduction of team points will be made at the discretion of the golf professional. Pairings : You will be required to play with your team and opponent unless other arrangements are made in advance. To protect the field is is highly encouraged to play during scheduled day and tee time. Any adjustments must be pre approved by BCGC as well as both teams involved in adjustment. Prizes: Prizes will be awarded in Pro Shop Bluff Bucks. Bluff Bucks may be used to purchased in stock merchandise (Sorry, Not valid for food/bev/golf fees, special orders). Bluff Bucks will be placed in each players account. Bluff Bucks expire on Oct 15, % of prize fund will be paid!

5 Playoffs: Teams will be seeded based on points earned during regular season Top 8 teams (after 11 week regular season) will be entered in the Chanhassen Flight. Ties will be broken by(1) HTH match (2) total points earned in last 5 matches (3) coin flip 1v 8, 4 v 5, 2 v 7, 3 v 6 There will be a consolation bracket, 3rd place - all teams will play 3 matches Bottom 4 teams will compete in the Chaska Flight. Round robin best ball cumulative hth matches vs other teams. Teams are guaranteed 3 matches.
