1 10 th ICORE INTERNATIONAL It s time again for the ICORE International Postal Match. Last year we had 269 shooters compete in this event. This will be the 10 th year of this match and hopefully we can crack 400 shooters this year. Once again the idea with this International Postal Match is the promotion of ICORE in general and to get the word out there about how much fun shooting a revolver in this type of match can be. If we all make the effort to get some first time ICORE shooters to shoot the match it helps spread ICORE awareness out there amid the shooting public. We have included Retro Division this year to give all the 6 shot shooters out there that use speed loaders the chance to compete against similarly equipped shooters. Plenty of hard cover and movement to test you all. A couple of these stages may seem familiar to some of you as two of this year s IRC stages were based around them. There should be no big dramas setting up for this match, just some black paint, no shoots and some old targets you can cut the ports out of. You do not have to be a member of ICORE to compete in this match. This match is to be shot over the period from 1 st September to the 31 st December Anyone, anywhere may compete. Being a postal match it is important to set up the stages as indicated in the stage diagrams and of course your honesty counts. So please make the effort to be fair to all. Be sure of the rules when running this match. If there are any doubts then download yourself a copy of the rules from You are welcome to shoot this match as many times as you like, however to be fair to all, please only shoot it once on the same date in the same division. On signal to start engage T1-T2 any order with 2 rounds each, move to Box B and engage T8-T9 any order with 2 rounds each, move to Box C if you choose however targets T3-T7 may be engaged in any order with 2 rounds each from either of Boxes A, B, or C. Scoring. Shots Unlimited. 18 min. Start. Audible. Stop. Last shot. Targets. 9 x NRA D1 s, 5 of them with hard cover. As per ICORE rulebook, procedural, misses and are at 5 seconds per occurrence. Range set up.. Unless otherwise indicated targets are on 600mm centres. Shoot boxes are 1m x 1m.
