From the Club House The month of March flew by with a lot of parties, events and activities taking place in the grill room as well as the banquet room. St.

We will be serving lunch from 11:30-3:00 and really look forward to this nice event. As always we thank you for your continued support and we look forward to serving you here at your club!

St. Patrick's Day, the basketball tournament and our regular Friday night dinners brought a lot of people out to enjoy time with family and friends. Many members also planned birthday parties, company meetings and school sporting events and banquets. Looking ahead to April more of the same is planned. The Sunday brunches have been a huge success and we plan to continue to offer them leading up to Easter on April 16th. Make your reservation now for our Easter Sunday buffet. We will be serving lunch from 11:30-3:00 and really look forward to this nice event. As always we thank you for your continued support and we look forward to serving you here at your club! 3 MENS GOLF Opening Day Golf Tournament is set for April 8th. Sign up in the hallway! We will have an 11:30 Shotgun. $25 Entry Fee includes Skill and Door Prizes. There will be a Drawing party Friday Evening from 6:00-8:00. Sign up ASAP. Titleist ProV1 and ProV1X buy 3 dozen and get the 4th dozen free is still available. Stop in and pick up your card for great deals around the state on golf. Cards are free to everyone that has a handicap in our system. If you need a handicap please call the Pro Shop and we will put you in the system. Spring means it s time to replace those worn grips and spikes. Bring your clubs and shoes in for an evaluation and we will provide you with the right equipment to help you play your best. Tired of lugging your clubs around in the car? Let us store them for you. We will keep them clean and have them loaded for you when you arrive to play. The fee is only $90 for the year. Dress Code starts on April 1st. Put the jeans away and hopefully get the shorts out. 3

Alongside V.J., Mike is also a Class A Member of the PGA of America and is a U.S. Kids Certified Coach. He will be helping lead the junior golf program at the Club and will be available for individual lessons and clinics. Mike looks forward to using his expertise and passion to promote and grow the game of golf here at BCC! 4

The program will cater to individuals of all ability and skill levels and help aid each individual through both golf and personal development. This will be accomplished through numerous instructional activities offered by our PGA professional staff with the goal of creating lifelong golfers. Spring Tuesday Night Junior Golf Clinics- April 18th - May 16th (5:00-6:00) o 1 hour clinic each Tuesday for juniors of all ability levels o Available to juniors age 6+ of all ability levels o Each Student will progress through the U.S. Kids Golf Learning Program o Clinics designed in a fun, positive and competitive environment to promote growth and enjoyment of the game o Designed to allow each student to progress in learning through the 5 week program o Topics Covered: Basic Rules/Etiquette, Fitness, Nutrition, Full Swing, Chipping/Pitching, Putting, Golf Course Rules and Regulations, Personal Confidence and Advancement, Respect for the Game o Program Cost 5 Week Program: $100/ Individual Sessions $25 5

7 WOMEN S GOLF ASSOCIATION OF BCC 2015 Women's Golf Association of BCC Golf Season 2017 is almost here! We will begin our season on Tuesday, April 25th with our annual breakfast followed by a 9-hole scramble. A sign-up sheet is on the ladies locker room bulletin board. Please sign up by April 18th to give us time to set-up groups and let the kitchen know how many there will be for breakfast. This opening day is a great opportunity to warm up for the season of golf with a scramble. The women may pay their Women s Golf Association dues of $35.00 that day. You may also join Mountaineer League on that day and sign up for the women s handicap tournament this year. After golfing on April 25th, we will have an organizational meeting for the Ladies Member/Guest scheduled for June 27th. Mary Ann Renzelli is in charge of the event and she will share her ideas for the day and suggestions. Volunteers to help will be welcomed! Those of you who would like to attend can be thinking who you would like to bring to this year s event. It will be upon us before we know it, so start making your plans to attend! Regular Tuesday play will begin the following week, May 2nd at 9:00 a.m. Our annual Women s Golf Clinics will begin on Thursday, May 4 at 10:00 a.m. They will continue on Thursdays throughout the month of May. Call or stop in the pro shop to sign up. We all can use some extra instruction to get us started on the right foot for a successful golf season this year! 7
