COURSE TOUR - HOLE 1/10 Our first hole is an uphill par 4, playing 342 yards.

3 COURSE TOUR - HOLE 1/10 Our first hole is an uphill par 4, playing 342 yards. It plays either straight or a slight dogleg right, depending on the tee position. You want to favor the left side of the fairway to prevent being blocked out on your approach shot. Your approach shot is to an elevated green that is narrow with bunkers on both sides. It is not a bad position being short of the green, because anything past the hole will challenge the best of players. Keep the ball below the hole!! Pin high or beyond on either side of the hole will be a difficult two putt. You want to favor the left side of the green if possible.

4 COURSE TOUR - HOLE 2/11 Named "Looks Easy", this drop down par 3 plays 136 yards, with a 40 foot elevation drop. The left side of the green is your target, as the ball will release down the slope to the right fringe. This hole is anything but its name! This planar green slopes from left to right and front to back. Any shot from the left of the green is very difficult. Make sure you get the ball below the hole from the left to minimize the damage. Lots of big numbers are made on this hole, if you try to get cute!

5 COURSE TOUR - HOLE 3/12 Hole #3 is an uphill, blind tee shot on this dogleg left. The fairway slopes to the right, so your target off the tee is the last tree on the left side of the fairway. The hole is not long, playing 338 yards. Make sure you don t stay in the left rough off the tee. The trees will block out your approach to the green. You will usually have a downhill lie for your approach to a green that is not visible. You can bounce the ball onto this green during firm conditions. The green on #3 is sloped from left to right. It is a tough two putt if you are left of the hole.

6 COURSE TOUR - HOLE 4/13 This tricky par 4, 4th hole, gives you options. Playing 290 yards, you can try to hit a big slice over the trees and go for the green, or play a shot of around 200 yards to the top of the hill. This gives you 100 yards from a flat lie. The fairway doglegs 90 degrees to the right, but plays downhill from 90 yards in. The green tends to be firm, so shots landing into the middle of the green better have some spin on them. Out of the rough you may choose to bounce the ball onto the green. Our landmark bridge and the ravine looking back toward 4th tee. The green is relatively flat for Phoenixville CC. Don t get greedy if the pin is back right because you may putt it off the green. Anything in the middle of the green will give you a great chance to make the putt.

7 COURSE TOUR - HOLE 5/14 This short, 456 yard, par 5 challenges your accuracy of the tee. OB hugs the right side the entire length and well placed bunkers lurk in the left landing area for most players. Big hitters can carry the driveway, that sits 250 yards from the tee, but the landing area narrows to 20 yards wide at that point. If you play it as a 3 shot hole, your chances of making a 4 increase. The fairway is the place to be on this hole! Check your ego at the door and play something 220 yards off the tee. Next you want to play something to get you in the yard range. Favor the right side on your send shot so the tall pines don t block out your third. If you get the approach on the correct level you have a shot at making it. You must get the ball on the proper level of this two-tier green. If the pin is on the first level, you can use the backstop to keep the ball on the green. This green has a false front if you are a little short on your approach.

8 COURSE TOUR - HOLE 6/15 Hole #6 is a 171 yard par 3. It is pretty straight forward. OB lines the right side and a large bunker protects the green on the left side. Don t be long on this hole. Green is banked from right to left. Green is banked from right to left.

9 COURSE TOUR - HOLE 7/15 Hole #7, 210 yard par 3 for the men / par 4 for the ladies. What you see is what you get. Flat green, well bunkered. If you can handle the distance, easiest par on the golf course. Flat green, well bunkered. Slopes off to side on left and right. May be the straightest putts on the course.
