1 2015 Golfer s Club for Family and Friends Scott Lake Golf & Practice Center has long been the place Where Golf is Fun! We continually look for ways to create more fun while playing golf. For years, memberships have been a family relationship purchase. If you were a family you could bundle your family and join as a group. But you couldn t include your friends, they had to get their own membership. In 2014 we created a membership package that can include family and friends. We think by being able to invite your friends into your membership group you can have more fun and so can your friends. Our membership program is now called the Scott Lake Golfer s Club. You can now have friends and family in your membership group. The maximum size of a group is EIGHT adult players. By forming a group of THREE OR MORE there is some savings involved. If you are already a member couple, find another member couple or two and create your own group of four. Here are two examples: Couple A which would join and pay $1050 for two players forms a group with couple B and their group is now four players for a fee of $1900 or $ apiece. Single player A would join and pay $575 for one player forms a group with two other single players and is now a group of three for $1425 or $ apiece. You can use multiple forms of payment but all players in a group must be paid together at one time. Add your children to any group for $100 per child under the age of 18. The Staff at Scott Lake

For those that don t play in a league, the dues structure provides an economical way to play a lot of golf.

There is an additional DUES fee add on of $250 per league. We have separated our membership play from league play. For those that don t play in a league, the dues structure provides an economical way to play a lot of golf. If you do play in a league the pricing is very fair as it reflects a discount off the value of league golf green fees. What about the Friday Scrambles? Two things about the Friday Scramble; 1) There is a members rate for the Friday Scramble of $27.50 versus $40 for non-members. 2) We have open golf available through out the day. Remember we take tee times two weeks in advance so a little advanced planning will help get you on the course on Friday. What about outings? Two things about outings; 1) There is a members rate for many of the outings we host. In order to keep bookkeeping clean for the outing director, just pay the outing fee and we will rebate you the green fee portion of the outing fee. 2) We have open golf available on many outing days. Remember we take tee times two weeks in advance so a little advanced planning will help get you on the course during most days. What about the Scott Lake Tour events? Two things about the Scott lake Tour events; 1) There is a members rate for the Scott Lake Tour events and a rate for non-members. 2) We have open golf available through out the day. What other events do you have? Member-guest, member-member, club championship, low net are member events. We have other events that are open to members where members have a discounted entry fee. What about maintaining a handicap? We have a system for maintaining handicaps. While not a USGA affiliated system, it does provide for accurate handicaps following proper posting protocol. We are working with a new vendor to supply us with a system that is maintained on-line so you can access your handicap from anywhere there is a computer. What about Where golf is fun!? For decades now Scott Lake has been known as the place Where golf is fun!. It starts with a fun golf course that can challenge and reward you every day. We have continued to improve the facility. We have built and maintain one of the best practice areas in Kent County and more improvements are coming. The Friday Scramble is now starting its 42nd year and what better way to start a weekend than with a round in the Friday Scramble. Play in any of the Scott Lake Tour events and you have a chance to win a prize and participate in some unusual events. We offer the ability to book tee times online so you can do it at your convenience. If you have a hole-in-one you win great prizes, what could be better than that.

Add $250 for each golf league you are going to play in Hole-in-One Club The Scott Lake Country Club membership for 2015 has a hole-in-one fee included and will provide for TWO hole-in-ones. After a 2nd hole-in-one occurs, we will bill you to replenish the fund. Every member is automatically entered into the Scott Lake Hole-in-One Club (HIOC). The (HIOC) was created to provide some fun and excitement for all of our members who experience the thrill of a lifetime by having a hole-in-one. This fund is paid out each time a member of the HIOC has a qualified hole-in-one. At the time of the hole-in-one, the fund is dispersed with 1/2 of the fund going to the lucky player in a food and beverage credit (To buy their friends a pop! ), 1/2 of the fund goes to the player in a merchandise credit. Each time a qualified hole in one is accomplished, the fund is dispersed. We will bill the members an additional $10.00 per qualified member for the fund after the 2nd hole in one is accomplished.. Each member has the opportunity to not participate in the HIOC after the 2ND hole-in-one by calling the proshop and removing themselves from the HIOC program. A qualified hole in one is one that is shot during a round of golf with witnesses in your group. The shot must be made from the normal teeing ground at Scott Lake and shot between April 15th and October 30th. A qualified member must be over the age of 18.
