1 February 2019 Newsletter Pro's Corner Kevin Rhinehart, PGA Professional (270) / kevinrhinehart@bellsouth.net Greetings to the Membership, Hey there golfers, the golf season is approaching -- despite the recent freezing temperatures. The 2019 Golf Schedule is now available. Check out the dates, and make plans for all your favorite events. Copies of the 2019 Calendar are available in the Golf Shop and on our website. If you are new to the Rolling Hills family, please stop by the Golf Shop and introduce yourself to us. We would like to welcome you to our club and can answer any questions you may have. Golf Lessons and Club Fitting It is a great time to get the game in shape. You may contact me at the Golf Shop or by (kevinrhinehart@bellsouth.net) Lesson rates are $40 for juniors and $50 for adults. Also, take advantage of our launch monitor to enhance club fitting. The right clubs and a correct fit can have a huge impact on your golf game. We have the technology to make sure you are getting the most out of your game. Having the correct set makeup can save several shots during a round of golf. Knowing how far a certain club actually flies in the air is very beneficial, and we have the ability to measure all your clubs for you. Fittings can be performed inside or on the range. Contact Kevin for more information. New In the Golf Shop All major brands have new offerings. Callaway and Cobra have revamped their line of clubs also. If you have any questions, please don t hesitate to contact us. New iron sets are also here. We have Callaway, Ping, Titleist and Mizuno irons. New golf balls from Titleist, Callaway, and Bridgestone. Stop by the shop and let us show you which ball fits your game. Footwear: FootJoy and Nike have an exciting new line of golf shoes. These are the most revolutionary shoes ever. We have men s and ladies in an array of sizes arriving soon. Men s Member Guest 2019 Participants of the 2018 Men s Member Guest may begin signing up February 1st. Those who sign up early are assured their tee time preference. Entry fee for this event is $300 per team. Fee is due with application. Applications are available in the Golf Shop participants have priority in signing up until June 14. Non 2018 participants may begin signing up June 15. July 15 is deadline for all participants. The date for this year's Men's Member Guest is September 14 & 15.

2 Used Clubs We have an excellent connection for buying used clubs. If you are in the market for a good used set, please don t hesitate to contact me. Grips Golf Pride - Lamkin Winn Now is a great time to get the dust off your clubs and bring them by to be re-gripped. We have a vast supply of grips in stock for quick turnaround time. If we don t have the grip you desire, we will get them for you ASAP. As always, it is a privilege serving as your Golf Professional. Rhinehart, PGA Mondays in February We will have a Monday evening HAPPY Hour all during the month of February - 4:30-6:00 PM. We will be serving up Draft PBR for only $1. Enjoy an ice cold beer along with free popcorn! Mondays just got a whole lot better!!!! Men's Night - Every Thursday Night in February Men's Night will continue during the month of February on Thursday nights. Activities and meals will vary from week to week. Miss a Night -- Miss a Lot!! BUNCO NIGHT at Rolling Hills on Monday, February 11th!! Game starts at 5:30 PM. Never played??? No problem!!! First timers welcome. 3 It's the BIG GAME! And we're planning an even BIGGER PARTY!!! The Clubhouse is the perfect place to be a part of SUPER BOWL 53. And RETURNING THIS YEAR -- VIP Seating!!! That's right!!! We will have comfortable RECLINERS in the Ballroom with a great view of the JumboTron so you can catch all the action -- from kickoff to the final whistle and all the great commercials in between -- in the comfort of a recliner! Limited number of seats available -- Reserve yours for only $15 -- or two for $25. Hurry -- they are going fast!! TACO BAR & CHICKEN WINGS EVEN MORE!!!! We will be serving up Tacos and Wings -- Delicious Beef Tacos, Nachos, Wings $7.50 per person. JELLO SHOTS Jasmine and Dee will be serving "Team" Jello Shots during the game! Try them all!!! 4 NCAA Men's Basketball The countdown to March Madness begins!!!! And you won't want to miss any of the action as the stakes get higher with each game. There's no better place than RHCC Clubhouse to catch all the action. Watch your s for weekly game times for our favorite Kentucky teams! The UK WILDCATS vs. TENNESSEE VOLUNTEERS. And we'll be ready at RHCC!!! The Social Committee will be serving fried chicken as we gather to watch these two top ranked teams battle it out on the court. Game time is 7:00 PM on Saturday, February 16. Bring your favorite game-time side dishes and desserts to share. It's going to be EPIC!!!!

5 National Margarita Day Friday, February 22 We will be celebrating National Margarita Day on Friday, February 22nd. Enjoy a delicious frozen margarita -- we have the best ones in town!! Or try one on the rocks!! We'll have strawberry margaritas as well as Golden margaritas (splash of Grand Marnier) Watch your weekly for more details!! FINAL MONTH FOR MEMBERSHIP PROMOTION The Membership Committee has extended our Membership Promotion -- NO DUES UNTIL APRIL -- for one final month. Join during the month of February and pay no dues until April -- That's two months free!!!! And if you sign a two-year contract, we will waive the initiation fee. (Applicable assessment is due upon application approval for all new members ($500 for Regular; $130 for Swim/Tennis). Call the Office today for , Ext 1. Trivia Night -- Save the Date Saturday Night, March 9th We will hosting Trivia Night on Saturday, March 9th, 7:00 PM. Teams of six players will compete -- $10 per person. This is a great time to invite your friends who are non-members to show them what a great place RHCC is. Mark your calendars and start recruiting your brainiac friends!!! Committee Members Needed Have some great ideas for activities at RHCC? Want to give back to the Club?? Please join Duane Dew and Rick Goins on Sunday, February 10th at 3:00 PM (in the basement of the Clubhouse) to discuss ideas for the 2019 Social Calendar as well as ideas for Children's Activities and Events. We would like to do more Social (Adult) and Children's events, but need your help and your input to ensure that we have fun ideas for members of all ages. Any member interested in being on one of these committees or are willing to help at an event are invited to attend. If you cannot attend but are interested in helping out, please call Duane at (270) or Rick at (618) Making RHCC even greater in 2019!!!!

6 The annual Middle School "Sweetheart" Dance is Saturday, February 10th, from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Tickets are sold out, and there is a waiting list. This dance is for sixth, seventh and eighth graders only. Golf Course Usage Fee The 2019 Golf Course Usage Fee of $215 is due in March. This annual fee is for all golfers at Rolling Hills unless you rent a cart when you play or you pay the $10 rider fee when you play. For members paying dues by automatic draft, this fee will be added to your March draft unless you notify the Office that you want to pay it separately.
