There are a number of outstanding holes, but one of the best is the 486-yard, par 5 fifteenth. The footprint of the legendary Sasquatch guards the green on this signature hole. The scenery is so breath-taking that your first time around the course you may find it distracting! 9 2013 Golf Events: Terms & Regulations Objective: Ensure that all guests fully enjoy their experience at the Sandpiper Golf Resort and protect the interests of both parties. Payment & Terms: A non-refundable deposit of $ is required to reserve a date for groups of 24-59, and $ for groups over 60 and a completed function contract is required to confirm your function booking. The deposit is non-refundable, but will be credited if the minimum requirements for golf, food and beverage are met. Our Hook, Line & Sink It golf & fishing program is subject to $50 per person deposit. Stay & Play packages are subject to the hotel deposit policies. When a cancellation request has been made after the deposit has been paid, Sandpiper Golf Resort will endeavor to re-book the date. If we are successful in re-booking the date with a function of a similar nature, your deposit will be refunded. Full payment based on confirmed numbers shall be received no later than ten (10) days prior to your function. Guaranteed Numbers: In order to properly prepare for your arrival, and ensure adequate staffing, materials and tee times, a final guaranteed number and full payment must be received no later than ten (10) days prior to your function. If full payment is not received on time, the function will be cancelled and deposit forfeited. Liability: The function convener and/or the organization that they represent shall be held liable for all damages not associated with normal wear and tear that may arise as a result of the actions of the function guests. Replacement values shall be used as the amount payable for damages, including lost revenue resulting from such damage. Authorized staff of the Sandpiper Golf Resort must be contacted prior to the set-up of displays or signage to ensure that no damage arises as a result of set-up. Sandpiper Golf Resort shall not be responsible for personal property or equipment brought to the site of the function except when management and ownership accept responsibility for storage and security of items delivered to the site. A Course Marshall will monitor conformance of golf & pace of play, cart, course etiquette Violations Will Result in a Warning or Suspension of Play! Rental Equipment: If additional golf carts are required, 30 days advance notice and rental/delivery charges will be applicable. (Based on availability) Health and Liquor Board Regulations: Outside alcohol & coolers are not permitted on the premises in accordance with Health & Liquor Board Regulations. Sandpiper Golf Resort must provide all food & beverage consumed. (Course beverage service & carts are available.) Liquor shall not be served after 12:00 am and closing of the clubhouse shall occur at 12:30 am or earlier. Food & Beverage Management and staff are licensed under the Province of British Columbia s Serving It Right program. Staff members shall reserve the right to refuse service to any individual(s) who, in the opinion of the staff have been served a sufficient number of drinks. Inclement Weather: Tournaments shall be played as scheduled with the exception of thunder & lightning; play will stop immediately (STORM). If there is a storm, a decision will be made by the Superintendent, in conjunction with the Director of Golf as to when play may resume. Dress Code: Collared shirts and proper Footwear must be worn at all times. No short shorts, Muscle tops, T-shirts, Swimming suits, Shirts without collars. Jeans are discouraged. Outing Representative will notify all participants of all rules including the club s non-metal spike policy. (Soft Spike conversion is available.) General Rules: The set-up of competition markers and sponsorship signs shall be the responsibility of the Golf Course Management and Staff. All signs must be approved and received a minimum of 24-hours prior to the start of the tournament. (Shotgun Events 24-hours and regular tee time starts 1-hour prior) The Course Marshal s instructions shall be strictly adhered to. The Course Marshals have the authority to remove players who do not comply with the Pace of Play Policies. (Sandpiper Golf Resort pace of play is Four and one half hour (4.5 hours) Players must play from their own set of clubs. Golf bags, pull carts and power carts shall be kept clear of all tees and greens. (Power carts must be kept a minimum of 30 yards from all greens & tees) Maximum of two (2) persons per power cart. Players shall play in foursomes unless instructed by the Pro Shop. Novice players shall be mixed with experienced players. The group representative is responsible for the conduct of all participants, and shall inform all players of the rules, ensuring they are followed at all times.

Outing representative will be responsible for reimbursement to Sandpiper Golf Resort for the cost to repair damages to any property or adjoining properties caused by a guest. 4. Outside alcohol & coolers are not permitted on the premises in accordance with LBC regulations laws. Sandpiper Golf Resort must provide all food & beverage consumed. (Course beverage service carts are available.) 5. If additional golf carts are required, 30 days advance notice & rental/delivery charges will be applicable. (35 power carts are available at Sandpiper Golf Resort.) 6. There is an additional charge for extra play by any individual. 7. Outing Representative will notify all participants of all rules including the club s non-metal spike policy. (Soft spike conversion available.) 8. Rain Delay Policy: If rain is constant, golf will continue. Thunder & Lightning will stop play immediately (STORM). If there is a storm, a decision will be made by the Superintendent, in conjunction with the General Manager as to when play may resume. 9. Cancellation Policy: The initial outing deposit is non-refundable. There is a 14-day cancellation policy on all scheduled tournaments.
