Biannual audits of staff on job performance, one-on-one green reading and course knowledge, all captured in Shack 2.0 Training tracker, help to create this trend. Caddies spend more time with the players than anyone else at the club. It is crucial that they leave a positive lasting impression on every group. Four to five hours of Customer service is not an easy thing, but when we hear things like, The three best rounds of my life have been with a Caddie Central caddie, we feel we are on the right track. Over the years, one of our club s Player to Forecaddie ratio has dropped from 3.3 players per round to 2.3 players per round because the Members want to take a caddie even if they aren t required to and because they want more caddies in the group, simply because of the relationships they have built with the caddies.
