1 Golf Course Maintenance Internship Mission: To help prepare turfgrass students for careers in the Golf Course Maintenance industry. Vision: Enhance interns abilities through diverse learning experiences combining on-course experience and professional seminars to prepare them for entry-level management positions. Facility: The Country Club of Virginia is a 54-hole facility established in CCV is a traditional, private membership, family-oriented social club, dedicated to providing its members quality products, programs, activities, facilities, and services. The Country Club of Virginia is one of the largest private clubs in the country and ranks among the Platinum Clubs of America. The James River course hosts the penultimate event of the PGA TOUR Champions playoff series.
