2 Message from CPGA Executive Director If you were one of the hundreds of vendors and PGA Professionals who helped make the 2013 show the best yet, we d like to thank you, and invite you to come to our 2014 Carolinas PGA Merchandise Show. Now in its 21st year, the Show as a part of our annual Big Week, will see over 1,000 Carolinas PGA Professionals make their way to Greensboro, NC to do their buying for the coming year, take in a few education seminars and the teaching summit, and attend our 2014 Annual Meeting. The Carolinas PGA Section will proudly be holding its 21st Annual Merchandise Show in Greensboro, NC for the first time at the Greensboro Coliseum. The Show is promoted extensively to more than 1,950 PGA Golf Professionals and buyers in North and South Carolina. The Section extends free admission to golf shop buyers and merchandisers at off-course facilities. The 2014 Merchandise Show attendance is expected to exceed 1,500 attendees, making our show the most cost-effective way for you to display product lines, service existing accounts, schedule future appointments, and establish new relationships with PGA Golf Professionals, buyers, and merchandisers in the Carolinas. 6 About the Greensboro Coliseum The Greensboro Coliseum Complex is a multi-building facility designed to serve the citizens of Greensboro and the surrounding area through a broad range of activities, including athletic events, cultural arts, concerts, theater, educational activities, fairs, exhibits, and public and private events of all kinds including conventions, convocations and trade and consumer shows. It is both a primary center of activity for the community and a leading economic generator for this region. The Greensboro Coliseum Complex consists of 23,500-seat Greensboro Coliseum (the largest single-seat arena in the nation), 2,400-seat War Memorial Auditorium, 300-seat Odeon Theatre, the 167,000-square foot Special Events Center that includes three exhibition halls, a 4,500-seat mini-arena and eight meeting rooms, and the 30,000- square-foot Pavilion, located adjacent to the Special Events Center. The Carolinas PGA Merchandise Show will be held in the Special Events Center at the Coliseum. Hollins Expostion Services For the 2013 CPGA Merchandise Show, vendors will be working with Hollins Exposition Services for all their booth set up needs. Located in Greensboro, NC, Hollins will be onsite during set up and all active show hours to assist with all needs that might arise. 8 Carolinas PGA 2014 Merchandise Show Contract for Exhibitor Space Terms and Conditions: The terms and conditions of this contract are stated below. The person signing this contract is an authorized representative hereby agrees to those terms and conditions. Please note: Return signed copy of the contract to the Carolinas PGA Section with required final payment. A fully executed copy of the contract will be returned to you with your booth assignment. 1. Parties The Carolinas Section of the PGA of America ( Carolinas Section ) and Exhibitor, acknowledge that the undersigned representative Exhibitor has read this contract and agrees to abide by the terms, provisions, and conditions herein. Exhibitor understands and agrees that the Carolinas Section reserves the right to reject any applicant for space, and has, at all times, the right to regain the immediate possession of any booth space by refunding the amount paid. 2. Exhibitor Method of Payment Exhibitors shall remit a $100 deposit with Exhibitor s Application for Booth Space. Final payment for the booth space is due by December 31, All applications for booth space made after December 31, 2013, must be paid in full. Exhibitor has submitted a ( ) check or ( ) is hereby authorizing the Carolinas Section to charge $ to the credit card listed on the application. No Exhibitor will be authorized to display its products or services unless its account is paid in full for booth space and for any advertisements in Carolinas Section publications for this Show. Exhibitors are required to comply with all Federal, State, and local laws, regulations and ordinances at all times during the Show. Carolinas Section reserves the right to demand such compliance immediately. Failure to comply will result in Exhibitor s removal from the Show. 3. Show Dates and Hours Show dates are Monday and Tuesday, February 17 and 18, Move in for Exhibitors is Sunday, February 16 th Move out is on Tuesday immediately following conclusion of the Show. Show hours are Monday - following the conclusion of Carolinas PGA Annual Meeting, approximately 11:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m.; Tuesday 8:00 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. 4. Use of Exhibit Space Exhibitor is authorized to showcase Exhibitor s products and services. Exhibitor is prohibited from sharing booth space with another Exhibitor. Exhibitor is prohibited from assigning, sharing, or subleasing space to any third party. Exhibitors in violation of this rule will be removed from the Show. 5. Indemnification The Carolinas Section, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and the Greensboro Coliseum Complex will not be liable for any loss of or damage to any property of Exhibitor from any cause whatsoever, whether in transit or before, during, or after the Show. It is expressly acknowledged that the Carolinas Section has not purchased insurance of any kind for the benefit of Exhibitor, nor is it under any obligation to do so. Exhibitor assumes full and complete responsibility for any damage or destruction, or claims of any nature or description arising from, or in any way attributable to, the Show. 6. Cancellation Upon the Carolinas Section s executive of the Contract, this Contract is binding and may not be cancelled by either party except under the following circumstances: A. Carolinas Section reserves the absolute right to cancel this Contract at any time if Exhibitor fails at any time to comply with any of the terms, provisions, or conditions of this Contract, or any other rule or regulation relative to the Show. B. Carolinas Section reserves the absolute right to cancel this Contract in the event that the performance is rendered impossible or impracticable by any circumstances beyond control of Carolinas Section, including, but not limited to, Page 1 of 2
