Four sets of tees allow a wide range of players to enjoy Bonnie Brook. Equipped with a full service Pro-shop and PGA instruction, you need to look no further for your golfing enjoyment. Weekend Permanent Tee Times Did you ever want to feel like you belonged to a Country Club but without the high price, well now you can when you purchase a Permanent Tee Time for either Saturday or Sunday morning at Bonnie Brook. For $320 per foursome, you can forget about having to call every week to secure your golf reservation. Permanent Tee Times go for 22 weeks beginning April 15 and 16 and ending September 16 and 17. (Permanent Tee Times will not be available the weekend of August 19 and 20 for Bonnie Brook Championship Weekend). The lottery for Permanent tee times will be on Thursday, April 6 at 6:30 pm. 2 SPECIAL EVENTS Enjoy a little friendly competition and play for some great prizes all season long with special events at Bonnie Brook: Bonnie Brook Championship Weekend August 19 &20 Starting a new tradition here at the Brook, both the Men s and Women s Championships will be held this weekend. Tee times will be in the morning both days and there will not be permanent tee times this weekend. All players must have a valid USGA Handicap and at least 10 posted rounds in On Sunday afternoon we will have an awards ceremony that will include a buffet for all participants. Get Ready to Play Age 17 + Sign up for our Get Ready to Play Golf program and learn how to play the game in five weeks. Learn from one of our PGA professionals in a relaxed, no stress environment. Simple instruction with proven results is what you will discover with this class. The fundamentals of the grip, set-up, full swing, chipping, and putting will be covered. On-course instruction will be provided as well. Participants will have the opportunity to use the practice facilities at Bonnie Brook for free during this five week program. Look no further, our Ladies Only clinic is perfect for you. When we say ladies only, we mean ladies only! No men allowed. Simple, easy to understand instruction is provided in the class on the full swing, chipping, and putting. This class is a perfect opportunity to meet other ladies like yourself interested in playing golf. The last week will culminate in on course instruction at Greenshire Golf Course. Junior golfers will have the chance to compete for a junior pass for the 2018 golf season. The pass allows juniors to play both Bonnie Brook and Greenshire Golf Course. There will be boys and girls flights as well. A valid USGA handicap is required to enter into the championship and the golfer must have at least 10 scores posted for the 2017 season. There will be prizes for 2nd and 3rd place of each flight. A $15 entry fee is required in order to register which includes lunch. Golfers are responsible for the green fee on the day of the event. All current 2017 pass holders may use their pass. BBGC WE 8/9 11am $15 Couples Only Age 21+ There s nothing like having your partner in life become partner in golf. One of you may have never played a round of golf except for maybe on the miniature golf course. But, that s a start. Let our teaching professionals guide you both with the basic fundamentals of a golf swing, course management and proper golf course etiquette in a relaxed environment. After your lesson feel free to enjoy our Grillin and Chillin atmosphere with great tasting BBQ and live entertainment. All participants are able to use our practice facilities for free during the 5 week duration of the class. Participants will also receive one free voucher for a draft beer and your choice of BBQ for Grillin & Chillin as well as a free round to Greenshire Golf course upon completion of the class. BBGC Tu 6/6-7/11* 6-7pm Reg by 6/5 $100/$110 per couple *No class 7/4 String Fling Spring Tournament Golf All Ages The String Fling is back again this year and better than ever! Now a 12:30pm shotgun start your twosome will play a scramble format. Each twosome receives three pieces of string totaling 9 feet in length. You can use these pieces of string to improve your lie on the course. There will be additional string for purchase in the pro shop as well. A steak dinner and awards ceremony will follow the round. $70 per twosome includes 18 hole green fee, cart, tee gift, steak dinner and prizes! Sign up forms are available in the pro shop. Must register by April 13th. BBGC SA 4/15 12:30pm $70 per twosome Ladies League Players Wanted Leagues for Ladies A golf league is a great way to meet people and find new golf partners. We have Ladies Leagues for 9 hole and 18 hole play at Bonnie Brook on Thursdays, and also a Wednesday league at Greenshire. All of the leagues are looking for players so why not try a league for the first time or join again if you played in a league in the past. Call Bonnie Brook for details The First Tee Age 7-17 The Waukegan Park District has partnered with The First Tee of Greater Chicago to reach out to our community and help get children more involved in the game of golf. The First Tee of Greater Chicago along with the PGA Professional staff at Bonnie Brook will work together to help kids discover how the skills essential to success on the golf course can help them flourish in life as well. Golf Clubs will be provided to kids that need them. Juniors will move up to the par level after completing all the requirements of the PLAYer level. After completing the requirements for the Par level the juniors will advance to the birdie level. Must be at least 7 years of age. $75 per participant. In-person sign up available at Bonnie Brook Golf Course or online at Scholarships are available. Fees will include: 12 hours of golf and life skills instruction, a hat, T-shirt, bag tag, curriculum book and be eligible for local and national educational leadership events free of charge. There are several different options to choose from below: Greenshire Wednesday Ladies League Our nine hole ladies golf league will take place on Wednesday mornings from June 7 to August 9. Tee times for the league will start each Wednesday at 7:30am and registration for the league will take place on May 24 at Greenshire beginning at 9am. This is a unique league for all women. Your level of play makes no difference as this is a great way to meet fellow golfers. Come have fun! Golf Outing Packages Greenshire offers a variety of gofl outing packages.
