Iowa Open which will prove to be the best Iowa Open ever conducted. We are anxiously awaiting our return to Lake Panorama National Golf Course which was the site of Iowa s premiere event from The staff and volunteers associated with Brokers International Ltd. and Lake Panorama National Golf Course have strongly embraced this effort which is evident by the numerous positive changes that will occur in this year s championship. Obviously, one of the biggest perks when working with a title sponsor is the amount of money earmarked for the prize purse. Brokers International, Ltd. will be providing a total of $25,000 to be distributed throughout the purse, which is the largest single sponsor contribution in the history of the Iowa Open. In addition to their title sponsorship, Brokers International, Ltd. has also secured corporate sponsors that will aid in the Thursday Pro-Am initiatives and tournament extras that will be noticeable and never seen in any Iowa Open to date. The combined efforts of Brokers International, Ltd. and their corporate sponsors will easily exceed the expectations of competitors, spectators, and media. One of the new and long-awaited enhancements for many is the addition of a senior division for those who are fifty years of age or older on or before August 20 th, Seniors will be competing for $5,000 added sponsorship along with senior division entry fees. Senior division competitors will be competing from a shorter set of tees which will lead to a larger senior division field and more enjoyable rounds. In closing, I would like to thank Roger McCarty, founder and CEO of Brokers International, Ltd., and his entire staff for not only their sponsorship but also their active participation and dedication. I would also like to thank John Dinnebier and his staff at Lake Panorama National Golf Course for their commitment to the success of this annual championship. 3 2010 Brokers International, Ltd. Iowa Open Golf Championship August 20 August 22, 2010 Lake Panorama National Golf Course Panora, Iowa ELIGIBILITY: Amateur Eligibility: 1. Iowa resident Amateur. 2. Non-Iowa resident Amateur attending college full time in the state of Iowa. 3. USGA Handicap Index of 6.0 or less (HANDICAP WILL BE VERIFIED). Professional Eligibility: 1. Iowa Section PGA Member or Apprentice in good standing. 2. Iowa resident non-pga affiliated Professional. Senior Eligibility: 1. Meet Amateur or Professional eligibility 2. Reached their 50 th birthday by August 20, Note: The committee reserves the right to include golfers now living out of state who were once residents of Iowa who have made a meaningful impact in the game of golf. All Amateur entries must meet the requirements as defined by the United States Golf Association Rules of Amateur Status. Amateurs awaiting reinstatement to Amateur Status may compete but will not receive any prize money or gift certificates from the competition. Those awaiting reinstatement will be required to pay the Amateur entry fee. FORMAT: 54-hole stroke play. The Open Division field will be cut to the low 1/3 portion of the field plus all players within 7 strokes of leader in said division following 36 holes for the final round. The Senior Division field will be cut to the low 1/3 portion of the field plus all players within 7 strokes of leader in said division following 36 holes for the final round. A full field will consist of 144 contestants. RULES OF GOLF: All play will be governed by the USGA Rules of Golf. All questions to be settled by the Iowa Open Rules Committee whose decisions are final. PAIRINGS, TEE TIMES: First two rounds of the championship, play will be conducted off #1 and #10 tees from 8:00 a.m. to 9:48 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 1:48 p.m. Final round, play will be conducted off #1 only starting at 8:00 a.m. with high scores teeing off first. Pairings and tee times for the first two rounds will be posted on the Iowa PGA Web site ( by Monday, August 16th, 2010 by 12:00 PM. Pairings will not be mailed. ENTRY FORM, FEE, CLOSING DATES: Tournament entry deadline is Tuesday, August 10th at 3:00 P.M. Entries will be closed if full field of 144 golfers is reached prior to entry deadline. Twenty spots will be reserved for those who placed in the top twenty of the 2009 Iowa PGA Player of the Year standings and twenty spots will be reserved for those who placed in the top twenty of the 2009 Iowa Golf Association Player of the Year standings. Those who occupy one of the twenty spots must still enter by the tournament deadline (no exceptions). A $10 service charge will be deducted from all refunded entries prior to the entry deadline. No refunds after August 10, Completed entry form must be mailed to the address indicated below or faxed with credit card information to Internet entries will also be accepted at Telephone entries will not be accepted. PRACTICE ROUND: Contact Lake Panorama National Golf Course to arrange practice rounds at CARTS: Carts may be used at the competition. NO private carts allowed.

4 TOURNAMENT PRIZE PAYOUT: A true open prize payout will be utilized for both open and senior divisions (no separate amateur payout) with amateurs winning a max of $750 credit at Lake Panorama National Golf Course Pro Shop. The open division purse shall consist of Brokers International, Ltd. sponsor contribution of $20,000 plus entry fees. The senior division purse shall consist of Brokers International, Ltd. sponsor contribution of $5,000 plus entry fees. If senior division participation is less than 24 entrants, the $5,000 sponsorship contribution will be decreased according to number of entries in that division.
