Unsuccessful entrants will be informed immediately after the Closing Date and will be placed on a waiting list and given the opportunity to compete if there are subsequent withdrawals. Eligibility: Modus of play: - Championship - Amateurs, who are members of a golf club that is member of the DGV or of the national association / federation / union of her country. 72 holes of stroke play (4 rounds) Thursday, 1 st Round 18 holes Friday, 2 nd Round 18 holes Saturday 3 rd Round 18 holes Sunday, 4 th Round 18 holes For the 3 rd round the players with the best 60 and ties over the first 36 holes will qualify. In the event of a tie for first place the winner will be decided by a hole by hole playoff. For any further ties, the sum of the last 36 holes shall be used. Any further tie will be decided based on the final stipulated 18,9,6,3 holes or last hole, in that order. Thereafter by ballot. - Nations Cup - Eligible for play of the "Preis der Bundesrepublik Deutschland" are teams of two or three players, who entered the competition before closing date and have been nominated by their National Association/Federation/Union either in advance to the DGV office or up to the day before the championship until 03:00 p.m. in the golf club or tournament office. Each country may enter up to two teams.

In the event of a tie the best team score of round two counts, thereafter the best individual score of round two counts, thereafter the nonconsidered counting score of player three of round two, thereafter the ballot decides.
