3 Jan Petersen Tournament Chair Tuesday play day (Lakes) 8:30 AM DA Points Each player plays their own ball through the hole. Take their NET score on each hole and earn the following points. Eagle 8, Birdie 6, Par 4, Bogey 2 and Double bogey 1. You deduct your handicap from 46 for your quota. (Example: If your handicap is 30, deduct it from 46 to get a quota of 16). Then take the total points you earned and deduct your Quota. That is your score. (Example: You earn 18 points then deduct your Quota of 16 for a score of +2.) Place your spare clubs on the green on the exit route to your golf cart or bag. 5 Guest Day Jan Petersen Tournament Chair Guest Day (Lakes) 8:30 AM 2-Gal Best Ball Teams are made up of two players. Each player will play their own ball into the hole. A gross score is recorded for each player on the scorecard. Record the lowest GROSS and the lowest NET score per hole. Both of these scores could belong to the same golfer. 7 Tournament Chair: Jan Petersen Tuesday play day (Lakes) 8:30 AM Throw Out 3 Play 18 holes. After play, throw out your 3 worst gross scores. Add the scores for the remaining 15 holes. Subtract the total pops from the 3 holes thrown out from your handicap on card. Subtract the remaining handicap from your remaining Gross Score for your Net. (Gross and Net) Try playing ready golf, where order of play is based on who's ready, not on who's away.

8 Tournament Chair: Jan Petersen Saturday play day (TPQ) (Lakes) 8:00 AM Tee Times Aces Wild Stroke Play. Subtract 1 stroke from your Gross Score for each 1 putt. Then subtract your handicap for net. (Gross & Net) When leaving the green and returning to your golf cart, don't stand fussing with your putter or other clubs. Get in the cart, drive to the next tee, and then put away your clubs.

Scores from the odd holes of the partner with the lowest handicap will be added to the scores from the even holes of the other player for gross. Subtract ½ of the combined handicap for net score. (Gross & Net) When playing a cart-path-only hole, take more than one club with you when you walk from the cart to your ball. Only to find out you don't have the right club is a huge time-waster on the golf course.

(Gross & Net) Never delay making a stroke because you're having a conversation with a playing partner. Put the conversation on hold and make your stroke.

11 Tournament Chair: Jan Petersen Tuesday play day (Hills) 7:30 AM Blind Nine Keep individual scores. At the end of play the Pro Shop will provide a list of nine holes selected at random. Use these holes for your score and subtract one-half of your handicap for Net score. (Gross & Net) Begin reading the green and lining up putts as soon as you reach the green. Do it as soon as you reach the green so when it's your turn you can step right up and putt.

Both play from within one club length of that spot, then play your own ball to the hole. Your total of both players scores minus one-half of partner s combined handicaps will be used to figure net. At end of play, take your 3 best par 3 scores, 3 best par 4 scores and 3 best par 5 scores. Add them up and subtract ½ your handicap. Round handicap to the nearest ½. i.e. ½ a handicap of 31 is 15 ½. (Gross & Net) Be ready to hit when it s your turn to play! (Have club in hand)
