Our environmentally friendly Parkland golf course is growing in reputation and is a popular venue for overseas visitors during the summer months. Within easy driving distance of St Andrews, Edinburgh, Stirling and Glasgow this beautiful parkland course was constructed in 1997 and is a Par 70. Elmwood Golf is the only golf course in the UK to be awarded the prestigious ISO environment award. Our commitment to the environment is reflected in our additional awards such as The Scottish Golf Course Wildlife Charter, Committed to Green and GEO Certification for outstanding commitment to driving sustainability in and through golf. 4 Elmwood Campus Residence Residence Education Education The 72-bedroomed residence provides accommodation on our main campus and is situated close to the town s leisure centre. Study Golf and Greenkeeping at SRUC Elmwood Campus Accommodation includes: Private bedroom with supplied linen Internet access in all rooms Toilet and shower rooms Spacious kitchen and lounge area Residence offers: Laundry room Common room with pool tables and satellite tv Our Residential Officers, who ensure the safety of residents, provide 24 hour supervision. Residents have access to a cafe bar and licensed lounge area, which is open in the evenings and provides a relaxed, comfortable social area for residents. The Student Union area is open to all students throughout the day and is an ideal location for leisure activities. Elmwood s Golf Course provides a fantastic learning environment for our Golf and Greenkeeping students. The 18 hole course has high quality fairways and greens, floodlit driving range and practice putting greens. Elmwood offers an excellent facility for all golfers in stunning surroundings.
