1 2014 Membership Information Located on the banks of the Bow River, just five minutes from downtown Calgary, Inglewood Golf & Curling Club is one of the finest semi-private championship golf courses in the Calgary area dating back to the 1930 s. The traditional tree-lined layout is always in fabulous condition with some of the quickest putting surfaces in the Calgary area. We have not only an 18 hole championship course, but also a 31 stall driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area. Our central location makes Inglewood an excellent venue for corporate and charity tournaments. Tee time booking privileges, as well as preferred weekend and holiday tee times. Unlimited guest visits. Complimentary Pull Cart usage and discounts on Power Cart programs and rentals. Membership in the RCGA and AGA associations for men Membership in the CLGA and ALGA associations for women. Participation in Club Tournaments and Social Functions. Use of our Computerized Handicap System. Participation in Men s, Ladies, and Mixed leagues. Occasional reciprocal arrangements with other golf clubs. Club storage and cleaning provided at no additional charge. Discounts on Driving Range Memberships, as well as Pro Shop merchandise. Personal lockers and locker room privileges. Club and interclub charging privileges Initiation Fee plus GST $9,000 Share Certificate plus GST $ Fee Schedule The Initiation Fee is currently $9,000 plus G.S.T. One third of this fee is payable upon application for membership and the remaining two thirds are due in equal payments in the second and third years. This is a non-equity initiation fee and is non-refundable and non-transferable. The non-equity share certificate is $800 + G.S.T. and is refundable if you ever give up your membership. In addition to annual dues, we also enforce an annual demand charge. Members and associates are to spend $200 (before tax and gratuity) per calendar year on food and beverage. This includes purchases made from the beverage cart, snack bar concession, log cabin lounge and admission to member functions. At the end of each calendar year, any unspent portion of the demand charge will be charged to your account. Purchases must be charged to your account via your Inglewood swipe card to credit your demand. Inglewood Website - Our interactive website is where you ll find all of the most current news and information about the Club in real time, as it happens. Once registration is complete, you ll be issued a member user ID and password. You ll use that information to access the elite members only section of the website complete with a bulletin board, directory, board of directors information, our policies and bylaws and our events calendar where you can view and sign up for all club tournaments and special events. Curlers can register online as well! Accessible from the Pro Shop menu in the members section, there are pages dedicated to our ladies section, junior associates and men s night. Each providing contact and sign up information for each League as well as up-to-date information on tournament scores, etc. 2

Spouse Associates also receive unrestricted (number of rounds) playing privileges. ANNUAL ASSOCIATE An Annual Associate has full Certificate Member privileges for one year minus voting privileges and the eligibility to run for the Board of Directors. INTERMEDIATE STUDENT ASSOCIATE To qualify for this membership, you must turn 19 years of age before August 31 of the current golf year but not reach 25 years of age prior to August 31 of the current golf year. In addition, you must be in full-time attendance at a creditable institution of learning. Intermediate Student $1,260 Intermediate Non Student $1,680 Senior Intermediate $1,890 Junior $ INTERMEDIATE NON-STUDENT ASSOCIATE To qualify for this membership, you must turn 19 years of age before August 31 of the current golf year but not reach 25 years of age prior to August 31 of the current golf year. INTERMEDIATE SENIOR ASSOCIATE To qualify for this membership, you must turn 25 years of age before August 31 of the current golf year but not reach 29 years of age prior to August 31 of the current golf year. Senior Intermediate Associates do have priority in eventually becoming a Certificate Member themselves when they are eligible. This opportunity may on occasion affect ones positioning on the waitlist. JUNIOR ASSOCIATE This category of membership is also open to children of Certificate Members between the ages of 11 (prior to August 31 of the current golf year) and 19 (after August 31 of the current golf year). 3

GST Single $1,200 Couples $1,530 Tee Time Booking Procedures WEEKDAY BOOKINGS MONDAY thru THURSDAY we book Tee Times. (We no longer Ballot). A Member or Associate may book a tee time 6 days in advance starting at 7:00 am - online or by phone - using our Tee Time Booking Software: Jonas. Book on Tuesday for Monday play Book on Wednesday for Tuesday play Book on Thursday for Wednesday play Book on Friday for Thursday play All Tee Times will be granted on a first come, first served basis.. Maximum number of players that can be booked is 8 (2 tee times) with a maximum of 3 Guests per Member. Cancellation Policy: All Members and Associates must cancel their tee times a minimum of the day prior or may be subject to green fee charges. OTHER WEEKDAY TEE TIME BOOKING PROCEDURES Any unused public allocated tee times may be booked after 4:00 p.m. 1 day in advance by calling the Pro Shop. Advance Bookings can be made by speaking to the Head Professional but are subject to the following conditions: Must be booked as a complete foursome with a minimum of 2 guests. All Advance Bookings are subject to the Advance Green Fee rate and Power Cart rental. WEEKDAY MEMBER OR ASSOCIATE EVENTS 18 Holes $34 9 Holes $20 Tuesdays from approximately 9:00 am to 11:00 am is reserved for the Ladies Section. Wednesdays from approximately 7:30 am is reserved for the Senior Men s Group up to maximum of 90 players unless otherwise determined by the Head Professional. Thursdays from approximately 3:00 pm 5:00 pm is reserved for Men s Night. Fridays from approximately 5:20 pm 6:00 pm is reserved for the Mixed 2-Ball Group. Special events or circumstances may necessitate changes in these starting times. FRIDAY BOOKINGS A Member or Associate may submit a ballot for a Friday tee time up to 7 days in advance. The deadline to submit a ballot for Friday is 5:00 pm on Sunday of that week. Ballots can be submitted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week using our Tee Time Booking Software: Ivr.net. 4 All Friday ballots are drawn using the Ivr.net balloting and weighting system. Friday ballots will be done according to the following Priority System:

The Inglewood Handicap Committee will monitor the submission of regular play scores and tournament scores to ensure each member is sustaining a verifiable handicap as outlined by the RCGA. RCGA WEBSITE AND PASSWORD Once membership sign up is complete, you are encouraged to join the Golf Canada website. To register with the RCGA, you must log onto their website or click on the Golf Canada link on our website. Your login is your first initial and last name (example: jsmith) and password is: INGLEWOOD IS A SEMI-PRIVATE CLUB Inglewood Golf & Curling Club was incorporated under the Societies Act on June 17, The Club leases the land from the City of Calgary and as a result, has an obligation to provide tee times to the public. We do provide some access to the public predominantly during weekdays and therefore are considered a semi-private club. The resulting revenues by the public allow Inglewood to offer its members some of the most attractive annual dues in the City of Calgary. DRESS REGULATIONS All golfers are required to wear suitable attire while on the course or around the Clubhouse. Proper golf attire as specified in our dress code is mandatory and those not conforming will be asked to change or leave the premises. The dress code at the driving range is more relaxed. SPEED OF PLAY Inglewood prides itself as a very enjoyable place to play golf. In making everyone s day as enjoyable as possible, players are expected to maintain a reasonable pace of pay at all times. Our Course Marshal will be on hand to offer assistance and ensure cooperation from all players. MEMBER ACCOUNTS Certificate Members and their Associates may choose to use their assigned charge card for any purchase at the Club including purchases in the Pro Shop, Clubhouse, and 10 th Tee Snack Bar. This charging privilege may also be used while visiting other golf clubs that have a reciprocating arrangement. From time to time, certain items or fees may be automatically charged to your member account for convenience such as tournament entry fees etc. Certificate Members are liable for all charges to their account made by themselves, their family, and their guests. Statements are issued monthly and should be kept current. All overdue accounts will result in an interest and administration charge. 5

6 Club Information Contact Information Jason Stanier General Manager MEMBER AND ASSOCIATE STANDARD OF CONDUCT Members and Associates of Inglewood and their Guests are expected to maintain a standard of conduct that will be a credit to the Club. Any Member or Associate using abusive language, physically or sexually abusing staff, other Members, Associates and Guests or encroaching on the rights of others may be subject to sanction by the Disciplinary Committee. Removing alcohol from the golf course licensed premises. Bringing own alcohol. Disregarding Club rules and regulations. Making personal attacks against staff, Directors, Members, Associates and Guests. CURLING MEMBERSHIP Inglewood is home to many Men s, Ladies, Mixed, Competitive and Leisure Curling Leagues of all ages. We are one of Calgary s premier curling facilities and are proud supporters of our Championship Men s and Ladies Curlers! As a Certificate holder, if you d like to curl during the winter months, your Curling Membership fee is waived. With six premium sheets, we re able to host a number of In House Leagues as well as Public Curling, Corporate Bonspiels, Lessons and Practice Ice.
