2 Brent Siroen Social Co Ordinator Saturday FOG event was cancelled due to lack of time, only 2 weeks were allocated to arrange the event. ME suggests including the dinner with the round of golf for future years. Australia Vs ROW 23 rd March just awaiting confirmation back from Tim/Dion that date is ok Brent to arrange flyers and advertise event BS February Meeting 2014 Events already booked Gala Night 15 th November St Andrews Day event also booked/melbourne Cup Day 4 th November /NYE in Sam Copley also booked DP Asked that a room be booked for Pennants Finals Day BS Feedback at Feb Meeting MT Capt asked that all bookings are confirmed in writing to ensure that there are no potential issues later down the line. Mark Tibbles Junior Co-Ordinator Georgia Sheers has transferred her membership back to the Vines from Joondalup Mark reviewed recent Junior events that showed good performances from Alyssa, Liam P and Georgia S. Holden Scramble Dates confirmed for the fixtures : 17 th August Mixed Event Ensure this is inputted into fixtures calendar for March meeting 19 th August Ladies Event

3 Melanie Eggleston Members Liaison John and Mike were concerned about the handicap changeover Mariana confirmed she would be at the starters hut on the Saturday morning to assist with questions/concerns Festival of Golf Seniors Event Some visitors ended up missing out on food as people were taking more that they should! Any idea for future events would be a single plated meal as the events are not staffed by the resort. Ian Gregory Greens Committee IG spoke to John M about a resident on the 6 th green illegally dumping garden waste on the course IG Rakes..ongoing! IG The pin roster had been handed to Dion and should now be in effect. TBC IG Greens will now be rolled on a Wednesday and NOT a Friday, this had already started prior to this meeting. IG Buggys still not adhering to rules, too close to greens, not using paths etc.

4 Mariana Taylor Club Captain /Director of Golf Dress Standards in the bar are a concern, Denis P to review current standards and re-issue via to all members once agreed DP/MT Capty/ All February Meeting Raised that negotiations are ongoing with regards to having reciprocals with Kalgoorlie GC MT Capt Feedback next meeting Asked that whenever possible Committee members be more visible at presentations both at weekend and in the week. Denis Perich Mens Delegate FOG Numbers up on previous year and an ing list has now been complied by KH to ensure that future events are ed out in advance.

5 General - Bigger issues with Bunkers Bunker depth should ideally be ½ depth of a ball - ALL bunkers ideally need to be looked at to ensure consistency across the course All the edges of the bunkers need to be address, growth from fairways into bunkers, several bunkers on the Lakes course have grass growing in them around the face of the bunker IG to Dion ref bunkers /5yr Plan and Staff Turnover since the introduction of the 5yr plan. Any development with regards to what will replace the bushes on the 16th

6 Previous Meeting action points carried forward: Match Committee Meeting February 10th th 2014 Introduction of Grade eceletic 4 seasonal ecelctics per year - ½ Handicap s, best score for each hole played on either a Wednesday or Saturday competition. No capping of rounds. Winner and Runner Up per grade. Prize Vouchers totals? GC/ JP An easy to manage ongoing comp that gives members something else to play for if not playing too well in one particular round. Justin to amend score entries so that a hole by hole score has to be input for every card, information will then be exported to excel format to calculate grade positions. Ideally get a sponsor for the event Feedback to next meeting with ideas Information needs to be uploaded onto website on a weekly basis / Hard Copy to be available on Pin Board Order of Merit(OOM) Introduction of Club OOM, The top 16 at the end of the year will then be entered into an end of season event to see who wins the order of merit for the year similar to the PGA Fed Ex Cup Anyone of the top 16 can win as the event should be calculated using points and not vouchers. ALL Format and scoring system to be developed and brought back to next meeting with a view to starting the competition at the start of the new fixture season. New Fixture Year An easy to manage ongoing comp with a final year play off for top 16 players.

7 Doubles Competition Stableford pairs are drawn against each other. Pairs do not have to play each other in a 4 and teams of two can play as individuals at different times and just enter their own scores.. Look to introduce this early in the new year January 2014 A sponsored event that gives members a team event that also enables them to play as individuals in the early rounds. From Quarter Finals onwards the teams must play each other in a head to head dual. Club Championship format- Proposal 36 Hole event over 2 Saturdays, the top 8 from each grade then enter a match play knock out comp. We would then have a stroke and match play club champ By doing this format I believe that more members would be able to participate in the event that currently is viewed to be not worth entering as it is played over two consecutive weekends (Saturday & Sunday) ALL To feedback at next meeting with alternative ideas 2014 Club Champs Increase number of members participating in club champs on a ongoing basis.
