2 golf course general information Perched high atop the rugged terrain of rural southeast Ohio, the scenic golf course at Salt Fork State Park is a destination worth taking the clubs to. With its rolling fairways and expansive greens, the 18-hole championship course will challenge even the most experienced golfer. Come see for yourself why it earns a 4-Star Rating in Golf Digest s Places to Play! The par 71 course spans 250 acres of forested hills, open meadows and misty valleys of Guernsey County. Measuring only 6,056 yards from the white tees, the course plays considerably longer than expected because of the numerous uphill approach shots. Golfers can also enjoy the course s pro shop, snack bar, driving range and putting green. Tee times are recommended, and a picnic pavilion can be reserved for group outings. SUGARTREE MARINA Open from May September, weather permitting, Sugar Tree Marina offers a greater variety and number of rental boats than any other location in Ohio. The marina sits on the north end of the lake, close to the main lodge. This marina has the following hourly and weekly rentals available: Pontoon Boats, High Performance Pontoon Boats (for tubing), Wave runners, Ski Boats, Fishing Boats, Kayaks, and Canoes. In addition to our onsite activities team, our teambuilding partners are ready to work with you to create a more structured teambuilding event at any of our Ohio State Park Lodges.
