Since returning to hosting IBS competition events in 2014, considerable upgrades have occurred on the PTRC range. In 2015, a dedicated core of PTRC members installed brand new 100 and 200 yard target berms and target systems. These new additions have been well received and have improved efficiency on the range. At present, 39 benches are available with 30 serving match relays and nine serving as additional cleaning stations. The 2016 season features an exciting and competitive IBS schedule. The addition of the 100/200 Yard IBS Score National Championships to the PTRC calendar has electrified local communities and businesses. The 100/200 Yard IBS Score New York State Championship event is also inclusive to our calendar along with three one-day IBS and club events for 100 and 200 Yard matches as well as the traditional Harvey Donaldson Match. Sep. 24* 7 AM 10 AM 200 yds PTRC-IBS Match & Donaldson Match *Following the IBS Match, the Fifth Annual PTRC Donaldson Match will be held. This is not an IBS match and is open to all competitors competing in any portion of the September 24 th match. Equipment rules are simple. Any centerfire rifle which could be fired from the shoulder in a standing position and of less than.50 caliber can be used. The course of fire is 2 shots at each of the five record bulls in a 100 yard IBS Score Target from a distance of 200 yards. Fifteen minutes are allowed to complete the 10 shots for a maximum score of 100 points. The winner will receive a personalized plaque and have his/her name and score engraved on the permanent plaque hanging in the PTRC clubhouse.

3 REGISTRATION Please forward all mail and pre-registration forms to: REGISTRATION OFFICER Michael Kowalski Cell: (518) County Highway 107 Home: Amsterdam, NY With the exception of the National event, PTRC club matches will be held concurrently with the IBS matches. Shooters will have the option of competing in either the club matches or IBS matches, however, IBS membership is required to participate in IBS matches. Shooters may join IBS at the match should they desire. Registration for IBS membership may be obtained at the PTRC. Bench assignments will be intermixed and the firing line will be conducted under IBS procedures for all shooters. IBS safety rules will be followed. For the one-day IBS/PTRC club matches, registration begins at 7:00AM in the clubhouse the day of the match. Pre-registration is encouraged up to one week prior to any match (send no money as fees will be collected at the match). Meal tickets will also be available for purchase at registration at all events. For the NYS Championship Match in June, registration, bench drawing, and assignments will begin at 12:00 pm Friday at the range for early arrivals and will continue at 7:00 am Saturday in the clubhouse. PTRC club matches will also be contested in the NYS Championship event. For the IBS Score Nationals, pre-registration is required by submitting a completed Registration Form to the PTRC Registration Officer. Pre-registration forms must be postmarked or electronically dated no later than Wednesday, July 27, Send no money as registration fees will be collected upon arrival. There will be a $10.00 late registration fee for those registering after the July 27, 2016 deadline. We shall endeavor to accommodate rotation preferences stated in the pre-registrations. PTRC club matches will not be contested in the National event. IBS Match Registration Forms and Release of Liability Forms must be filled out by each IBS competitor. 4 PARKING Once registered, proceed to the range. The area in front of benches 6-14 is reserved parking for handicapped competitors who have a handicap parking permit. The area in front of benches 1-5 and is for equipment loading -unloading only. To accommodate others, the vehicles must be moved to the parking area after loading-unloading is complete. The parking area is identified as the grassy hill behind the Chief Range Officer Shack just across the road from the wooden fence. Parking is also available on the paved lot located in front of the clubhouse.

5 BENCH ASSIGNMENT Thirty benches (bench numbers 10-39) will be drawn. Benches 1-9 are available for cleaning/reloading on a first come-first serve basis. No one shall set any equipment on or in front of benches before they are assigned a bench. When you are assigned a bench, you will receive a voucher with your bench number and relay number entitling you to set-up your equipment. Two or more shooters who wish to share the same bench will be assigned to sequential relays on their bench. Only one of the shooters will draw or be drawn for the bench itself. AWARDS An awards ceremony shall be held in the PTRC Clubhouse at the conclusion of each one-day IBS Match. An awards ceremony for both the New York State Championships and the IBS Score National Championships shall be held at the conclusion of competition on the second day (Sunday) of each event. For one-day PTRC-IBS events, non-cash awards will be presented to the first three places for the following classes at each match: 1) IBS VFS 2) IBS Hunter 3) PTRC BENCHREST CLASS 4) PTRC SPORTER CLASS The Harvey Donaldson Award will be presented during the September Match ceremony. The winner of the Donaldson Match will also be placed on the Memorial Plaque located in the PTRC clubhouse.

6 For the IBS New York State Championships, non-cash awards will be presented to the first three places for the following classes: 1) IBS VFS (aggregate for each yardage) 2) IBS Hunter (aggregate for each yardage) 3) PTRC Benchrest Class (aggregate for each yardage) 4) PTRC Sporter Class (aggregate for each yardage) 5) VFS Grand Aggregate 6) Hunter Grand Aggregate The VFS Grand Aggregate and Hunter Grand Aggregate winners shall be declared State Champions and their names will be placed on the Memorial Plaque located in the PTRC clubhouse. For the IBS Score National Championships, non-cash awards will be presented to the first five places for the following classes: 1) IBS VFS (aggregate for each yardage) 2) IBS Hunter (aggregate for each yardage) 3) VFS Grand Aggregate 4) Hunter Grand Aggregate 5) And for the winner of the 2-Gun Grand Aggregate The VFS Grand Aggregate, Hunter Grand Aggregate, and 2-Gun Grand Aggregate winners shall be declared National Champions and their names will be placed on each respective IBS Traveling Trophy. FOOD & DRINK For your convenience, the kitchen will be open at 7:00 am with a light breakfast menu and after the match. A lunch break will be announced by the Range Officer and a lunch buffet will be provided in the clubhouse. Meal tickets will be sold during registration. The bar will open during and after the awards ceremony with adult beverages and soft drinks available.

8 From NYS Thruway (I-90) take Exit 27: Amsterdam (less than 14.5 miles from range) From tollbooth, bear right onto Rt. 30 North and proceed to Rt. 29. At roundabout (circle) take 3 rd exit onto Rt. 29 West to Johnstown. Proceed west to Johnstown, to Rt. 30A North. Take right onto Rt. 30A North and proceed to 2 nd light (Townsend Avenue). Take left onto Townsend Avenue and follow the directions above. Coming East or West from Rt 29 turn north onto Rt 30A in Johnstown and follow the above directions from Townsend Ave. Coming South on Rt 30A, turn right onto Townsend Ave. and follow the above directions Coming South on Rt. 29A, turn right onto Rt. 122 and take the third right (about 1.1 mi.) onto Johnson Ave. The entrance to the Pine Tree Rifle Club is on the right in about.3 miles. HOTELS/MOTELS/RV CAMPGROUNDS Due to liability considerations, the Pine Tree Rifle Club is unable to provide overnight parking or camping privileges on any of its premises. A list of local hotels, motels, and camping grounds with contact numbers is provided below. The following hotels have blocked 5-15 rooms specifically for our PTRC-IBS competitions, however, inquire early as to when your reservations must be made. Rooms have been blocked for each Friday prior to the IBS event as well as the event day(s) which would include Saturdays and possibly Sundays. Also, inquire about the special 10 20% PTRC-IBS discounts. It is advised that you make reservations for all of the dates that you plan to attend when you contact a hotel. The summer season gets especially busy and hotels book quickly. Mention the Code: PTRC-IBS for the discount rate. Motels and Camping Grounds have also been arranged with very reasonable rates.
