8 Terms and conditions 1. Hoburne Golf Hoburne Golf is a trading name of Burry & Knight Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under Company Number , the registered offices of which are at 261 Lymington Road, Highcliffe, Christchurch, Dorset BH23 5EE. In these Terms and Conditions, Hoburne Golf means Burry & Knight Limited. 2. Provisional Bookings All bookings are provisional until the signed agreement is received together with the required deposit. Hoburne Golf will hold a provisional booking for 14 days, but should another client subsequently wish to book and confirm the same date(s) you will be asked to confirm your booking within 48 hours. Hoburne Golf reserves the right to release the above provisionally held date(s) if the deposit is not received within the required period. 3. Numbers The minimum number of players for any golf day will be eight players. 4. Confirmation and Deposits A non-refundable deposit of 50 is required to secure the booking. Should a booking be cancelled within 7 days of the date required, Hoburne Golf shall be entitled to charge and invoice the client an additional sum representing the balance of 100% (including the deposit) of the booking. 5. Payment The confirmed number of players and food and beverage requirements must be received in the Sales Office no later than 7 days prior to the event. Full payment is required upon arrival. Please be advised that if numbers are reduced later that 3 days prior to the event it will be necessary to charge for meals not taken. 6. Conditions of Play Play will be in fourball format playing from the yellow tees at 8 minute intervals. The time allocated for 9 holes is 2 hours. It is the responsibility of each group to keep up with the speed of play. Proper golf shoes must be worn and the dress code adhered to. It is the responsibility of the organiser to inform his/her guests of this. Please note that soft spikes are preferred. 7. Course Etiquette It is the responsibility of the organiser to ensure that his/her guests are aware of the standard etiquettes of golf. Failure to comply with this will result in the individuals concerned being asked to leave the golf course. 8. Course Closure Closure of the course due to inclement weather is rare. However any decision to close is at the discretion of Hoburne Golf and can be made at any time. Any closure will be advised to the organiser as soon as possible. In the event of the course being closed on the day, alternative arrangements will be made under the terms of our Adverse Weather Policy. Under no circumstances will Hoburne Golf be responsible for consequential loss, however it arises. 9. Buggies Golf buggies can be booked prior to the event. Use of the buggies by the Golf Day Participants is the responsibility of the individual and he/she will be liable for any damage incurred to the buggy or the course. Private buggies cannot be used without prior consent. 10. Liability We can accept no liability or responsibility for: Loss or damage to belongings. Persons wishing to leave belongings on the premises do so entirely at their own risk. Damage or injury to any visitor or their property. Cover for public liability, property damage and loss, whilst on the Club s property or premises. 11. Conduct and damage to property In the event of guests behaviour being unacceptable, the management reserves the right to insist upon the offending individuals immediate departure. Furthermore, the guest undertakes to pay all reasonable costs incurred in making good any breakages or damages at any of the Hoburne Golf properties resulting directly or indirectly from the behaviour or conduct of the client or the client s guests. 12. Private Functions You are advised that Hoburne Golf Clubhouses are also used for private functions. If you visit us when another function is in process, please give consideration to other users and observe any clubhouse notices in place on the day.
