7 The Maryland Horse Industry Foundation (MHIF) was chartered in 1988 by the Maryland Horse Breeders Association (MHBA) to serve various educational and charitable needs of the Maryland horse industry. The MHIF supports a number of programs and is responsible for the maintenance and expansion of the Maryland Horse Library. The MHIF is nonprofit and taxexempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, so that contributions and gifts are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. 12 32nd ANNUAL MARYLAND MILLION GOLF TOURNAMENT TUESDAY, October 10, 2017 MANOR COUNTRY CLUB ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND Please join us for the 32nd annual Maryland Million Golf Tournament. This golf tournament is an excellent way to network with our Maryland Million sponsors and to make new contacts in the horse industry. Come to Manor Country Club this year we re looking forward to an excellent day of golf! The format for the tournament is Captain s Choice (Scramble). Teams will also be handicapped to even out the playing field. Please be sure to include your handicap on your registration form. The fee per player is $200 (or $800 for a foursome if you want to bring a full team). Each golfer will receive: 18 holes of golf, with cart Free driving range and putting green privileges, with free range balls A tee gift courtesy of the Maryland Million Grilled lunch on the covered deck at Manor Country Club Beverages (soda, water and beer) on course Awards dinner and open bar We will also be offering: Men s and ladies prizes for a longest drive contest Closest-to-the-hole prizes for all of the par three holes Putting contest [50-50]: 3 for $10; 5 for $15 Mulligans in case you need some extra help. $20 each, or $70 for the team.
