1 Torvean Golf Club Glenurquhart Road Inverness IV3 8JN Tel: Memberships Subscriptions 2018 The members present at the AGM voted to move the membership year, currently January through December, to January 2018 through to March This was to ease the burden of funding membership costs during the festive period. This year will therefore cover an extended period of 15 months and thereafter fees being payable in April of each year. The membership fees may seem inflated, however extending the current year by three months exaggerates the price but has been introduced to alleviate the burden of paying fees at a time of year when personal finances may be stretched. To assist members and spread the costs we have introduced various methods of payment options. Fees may be paid in one sum or split into two halves with the first payment in January and a second instalment in June. Alternatively payments may be made by Direct Debit of 10 or 12 equal monthly instalments. We hope that our members agree that annual fees being payable in April is in the members best interests. The fees below include insurance, Scottish Golf levy and 30 Club levy card where applicable.

3 Flexible Membership Flexible membership allows you to play up to 13 rounds throughout the year After you have played your initial 13 rounds you can continue to play at 50% the Green Fee rate on the day. Allows you to retain your handicap and play in competitions (Green fee and entry fee payable where applicable) Option to upgrade to adult membership (paying the difference of adult membership less the flexible membership) Five day membership Clubhouse from Monday to Friday. For Weekend play a Green Fee charge would apply. Forces Membership Must be a serving member of the Armed Services, or Police (I.D cards must be provided)

4 Country Member Members living out-with fifty miles radius of the club Student Membership Must be in Full Time Education and Aged between years (student card must be provided) Young Adult Membership Must be aged between 19 to 25 years

Overseas Membership Must live out with the United Kingdom Gives you full access to our scenic Golf Course and welcoming

6 Included in Membership Personal Liability Insurance Costing Scottish Golf Levy costing (only applicable to playing members over 18 years) North District Golf Association Subscription of 3.20 (only applicable to golf playing men) Where Levy Card are issued will be paid to the Levy on receipt of your subscription this is redeemable at the Shop and Bar. Access to Members HUB on the website where you get up to date club information and have the facility to book Tee Times etc. Additional Information All membership categories where Levy Cards have not been specified have the option to apply for a Levy card however will not receive the 10% discount. Guest sign on is limited to 3 Guests per Round All members must report to the starters office before teeing off Membership Subscription Payment options: Payment can be made by Cash, Cheque, Credit/ Debit card either in full or either in one lump sum or by two equal amounts, the first of which to be paid by the 31st of January 2018 and the second by 30th of June Alternatively, the cost could be spread over months using the Direct Debit scheme through Golf Plus Direct on or applying online If you are having difficulty visiting the club to pay your subscription, please contact us on as we are able to take Credit/ Debit Card payments over the phone. Please note that if you are already paying your membership by direct debit through Golf Plus Direct, you will be required to take out a new agreement with them for the 2018 Membership Subscription; they do not automatically renew this for you.

7 Recommend a Friend To show we value the loyalty of our members we are offering a 10% discount to members who recommend a new member to the club. To be eligible for recommend a friend: You must be an existing Adult Member, Senior Member, Young Adult Member or Forces Member. The new member has to apply to be Adult Member, Young Adult Member or Forces Member. The new member must not have been a member at Torvean Golf Club for at least two years. A recommendation friend form must be completed and it is only when full payment has been recognised by the office for both parties that the 10% discount will be added to both levy cards. Members can recommend up to 10 new members in this membership subscription period. Please note the 10% discount will not apply to the Levy, Annual Golfing Fees and Insurance charges which are part of your membership.
