I am pleased to announce that the Hilton Garden Inn will be hosting our event this year. They are located at 1501 South Neil Street, Champaign, Illinois , 2016, at the two University of Illinois Golf Courses in Champaign, Illinois. Approximately 300 golfers attend this event and portions of that number are members of the Illinois General Assembly and various branches of Illinois Government. Economic times are tough and travel budgets are tight. We understand not everyone likes to golf, so for the sporting clay lovers, the absolute best value is at the 21 st Annual Sporting Clay Shoot at the Olde Barn Shooting Range. - g challenges. Get ready to have a day of recreation and sporting competition at the Olde Barn Shooting Range in Oakland, Illinois, Wednesday, July 13, 2016! To help raise the necessary funds to keep our Golf Outing an outstanding event, IPMA will again sell golf hole sponsorships that will include an additional 2-days advertisement on T.V. monitors at the host hotel. As a golf sponsor, a sign with your company name and/or logo will be displayed at a designated hole and your company logo rotating on several hotel T.V. monitors. In addition, you will receive special recognition in The Oil Can magazine and receive special mention at the banquet. In 2015, all 36 holes along with several greens were sold in record time. Let's accomplish the same feat this year. Each hole on the Orange or Blue Course plus 2 days T.V. monitor advertisement will sell for $ Your sponsorship helps defray the numerous expenses of running the tournament, such as the greens fees and carts for invited guests, and the purchase of prizes exceeding $40,000 in Outing on Wednesday, July 13 th. Let us know before June 27, 2016, if you are willing to participate in this year's event and which hole your company wishes to purchase. We suggest that you return the entry form as soon as possible since holes will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. If the hole you choose has already been selected, we will assign the next best. Skill prizes will be awarded too. Prizes galore, OVER $40,000 IN MERCHANDISE will be given away to lucky winners. Everyone is eligible to win! 6 IPMA/IACS has reserved The Olde Barn Shooting Range on July 13, Sporting clays are the fastest growing shooting sport in the United States today. Commonly referred to as a shooter s golf course, there are 25 stations depicting different situations commonly encountered while hunting in the field. As shooters move from station to station, the action is field-like, providing the shooter with the ultimate in gunning challenges. Each course has 100 targets and consists of 10 shots at a station. We have reserved two courses for your shooting pleasure. Courses are laid out so that everyone from the novice to the professional can intermingle and not detour from the spirit in which the sport is intended: recreational and sporting competition. The price of $ covers courses, lunch, refreshments and dinner. 7 IPMA/IACS SUMMER GOLF OUTING AND SPORTING CLAY EVENT WEDNESDAY, JULY 13, 2016 EVENT PRIZE FUND FORM On Wednesday, July 13, 2016, IPMA/IACS will hold its 65 th Annual Golf Outing and 21 ST Annual Sporting Clay Event. Golf will take place at the University of Illinois two 18-hole golf courses, just south of Champaign, Illinois, and the Sporting Clay Shoot will be held at the Olde Barn Sporting Clay facility in Oakland, Illinois. Each year the golf outing has over 300 golfers participating, with over 400 attending our awards dinner. To help offset the cost of these events, we are asking IPMA members to donate to the prize fund or donate prizes. This is a terrific way to advertise your services or product, and show an extra measure of support for the petroleum and c-store industries. You will receive special recognition for your donation at both events and the awards dinner. Special banners will be hung at the event you choose to sponsor. In addition, you will receive special recognition in the Oil Can magazine.
