Myanmar Golf Federation (MGF) is pleased to announce the 1 st Myanmar Junior Golf Championships 2018 which will be held between 3-5 January 2018 at Pun Hlaing Golf Course (PGC) in Yangon, Myanmar. The organizing committee would like to extend the invitations to your 4 best junior players which will be eligible for: - Free 5 days accommodation at the official hotel (2boys and 2 girls) (Twin sharing) - Local transportation between hotel-airport and hotel-golf course will be provided - Free practice round, tournament rounds - Welcome dinner, farewell party - Free breakfasts and lunches during the tournament The Pun Hlaing Golf Course is established since 2000 and designed by Gary Player, one of the legendary golf player. You will enjoy to visit world famous Shwe Dagon Pagoda and the numerous impressive sightseeing landmark. We sincerely hope that your national players will be available to participate in this event. Please also be kindly advised that other additional players are most welcome to participate but will have to meet all expenses on their own. 2 1 st Myanmar Junior Golf Championships 2018 January 3-5, CHAMPIONSHIPS INFORMATION--- General The Myanmar Golf Federation (MGF) is pleased to forward the following details in preparation for the Championship in Myanmar. 1. Championship Date and Venue The 1st Myanmar Junior Golf Championships 2018 will be held from Wednesday, 3 rd January to Friday, 5 th January,2018 at Pun Hlaing Golf Course,Yangon, Myanmar. The 18 holes Championship course measures 7012 yards and has a par of 72 in over 200 acres of trees. 2. Official Hotel JASMINE PALACE Hotel Address No: 341,Pyay Road, Sanchaung Tsp,11111 Yangon, Myanmar. Contact No: Website: jasminepalacehotel.com info@jasminepalacehotel.com Single bedroom will be will be available as same as twin bedroom, and it will be only available for delegates and supporters. Hotel reservation should only be made through Myanmar Golf Federation. 3. Meals Breakfast will be provided to players and officials by the championship committee free of charges at the official Hotel at *6am to 10 am. Lunch will be served at Pun Hlaing Golf Course. Dinner will be served at Jasmine Palace Hotel restaurant, other restaurants and shopping malls around Official Hotel by participant s own expense. Snack and drink shops are located at the golf course. *Complimentary drinking water, energy drinks and fruit will be available at course. 4. Airport Arrivals All players and officials will arrive at Yangon International Airport which is approximately 45 minutes drive to the official hotel. The transportation from Airport to the Hotel will be provided. 3 *To facilitate your reception, each team is kindly requested to advise your arrival/departure dates by November 15,2017. *Please notify all the arriving personal to contact JGM if there is any inconvenience upon your arrival. The bus schedule will be announced at the hotel and golf course. Pun Hlaing Golf Course is approximately 45 minutes drive from official hotel. 6. Caddie Tips & Buggy Fee House Caddie will be assigned to each party during practice and championship rounds. All players must use the caddies provided by MGF and player may not use his own caddie nor carry his own bag. The caddy Tip is 15 US$ per round ( only cash is acceptable) The Buggy fee is 25 US$ per round ( only cash is acceptable/participant s own expenses) MGF will cover the green fee & caddie fee (exclude tips) for official practice round and the championships ( three tournament round) *( 4 Nominated players, 4 rounds/free of charge). 7. Registration All players should register at their earliest convenience upon arriving. Championship office is located in Jasmine Palace Hotel and will be operational from ( Monday & Tuesday, 1&2-January, am 17am). *Only on Practice Day, 2 nd January, all players must register and obtain scorecards and caddy coupons at the tournament office before the start of practice. On January 3-5, players need not come to the tournament office, but should arrive at the tee-off point at least 15 minutes before their start time. *During the championship period, the office will be opened one hour before play and close one hour after the end of play.

4 8. Entry Fee The entry fee is waived for 4 nominated players (2 boys and 2 girls). The entry fee for (additional players) is US$650 per person (Include accommodation, Breakfast, lunch, transport and Green fee and Caddy fee (not including tip), welcome dinner and closing dinner). The entry fee for (parents, relatives and friends) is US$550 per person ( Include accommodation, Breakfast, Lunch and transport, welcome dinner and closing dinner ). *All team are requested to remit the entry fee to MGF by Monday, November 13,2017. Entry fee payment should be made in USD by wire transfers, bank draft or check payable to?. ( USD Only ( clean cash )). 9. Entry Deadline The Entry form is to be sent by 4 pm, Friday, November 27, 2017 to Myanmar Golf Federation with the player s latest Bio-data forms and photographs. 10. Driving Range The driving range opens daily from 6 am to 5 pm on practice days and the tournament days. Range balls are free of charge. 11. Locker Room Lockers are available for players, Captains and delegates during the championship date. Shower & bath facilities will be available for everyone. 12. Dress Code We recommend that all players are attired neatly at the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

5 13. Welcome Party and Farewell Dinner Welcome party and Farewell dinner for all participants will be held at Pun Hlaing Golf Course. Welcome Party: 2 nd January,2018 Farewell Dinner: 5 th January, Immigration Information All participants are advised to check if they require a visa for entry into Myanmar. 16. Voltage In Myanmar, electricity voltage is 220 volt AC. For visitors bringing 110 volt appliances, it is advisable to bring a small 110 volt transformer and a plug conversion kit. 17. Championship Website The information of the Championship, news release, daily draws and results will be available to check on the website. 6 1 st Myanmar Junior Golf Championships 2018 January 3-5, 2018 CONDITIONS OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP 1. Eligibility The Championship is open to all junior golfers in all countries, who have not reached their 20 th birthday on the first day of the championship ( born on or after 3rd January, 1998 ) and who: a) Must confirm in all respects to the Rules of Amateur Status as laid down by the R&A Rules Limited; and b) Have a USGA handicap index or other handicaps accepted by the COMMITTEE Participants are requested to attach their birth certificate together with their entry. 2. Format 54 holes stroke play Boys and Girls Class A,B,C. 3. Individual Competition Competition will be conducted over the following age groups: Class Age Group Boys Handicap Limit Girls Handicap Limit A 16 to 19 years 12 or below 18 or below B 13 to 15 years 16 or below 20 or below C 11 to 12 years 24 or below 30 or below 3.1 Individual: Class A, B, C The competition will be stroke play over 54 holes, 18 holes a day, for three consecutive days of the event. The winner of the individual event shall be the player obtaining the lowest aggregate scores of the 3 rounds. 4. Rules of Golf The 1 st Myanmar Junior Golf Championships 2018 will be played in accordance with the Rules of golf as approved by R & A and Local rules as approved by the Championship committee. 5. Decision on Tie 6.1 Ties for Individual Placing In the event of a tie for the first place, a sudden death play-off hole by hole will be held until the winner is decided. In the event of a tie for any individual placing, the tie shall be decided by a count back in the following order. -The best score of the 18 holes( 1-18)of the final round. If still tie, -The best score of the last nine holes(10-18) of the final round. If still tie, -The best score of the last six holes(13-18)of the final round. If still tie, -The best score of the last three holes( 16-18) of the final round. If still tie, -Hole by hole count back ( Final round) will decide the winner, If there is still no result then the winner shall be decided by the toss of a coin, or according to the COMMITTEE and Tournament director officially announce. 7. Decision If the committee has appointed a referee, his/her decision is final (Rule 34-2). In the absence of a referee, any dispute or doubtful point on the Rules shall be referred to the tournament committee, whose decision shall be final (Rule 34-3).

8 8. Close of completion The competition is deemed to be closed when the Championship trophy has been presented to the winning individual at the closing ceremony. 9. Caddies Teams must use house caddies provided by the host country. Caddies will be assigned to players on a random basis. Player may not use his own caddie nor carry own bag. 10. Transportation Players must not ride on any form of transportation during a stipulated round unless authorized by the Committee. See Appendix 1, R&A rule book, page List of conforming golf balls & Driving club The Optional Conditional in the Rules of Golf is in effect-see Appendix1, R&A Rule book, page Time of Starting If the players arrive at his starting point, ready to play, within five minutes after his starting time, the penalty for failure to start on time is loss of the first hole in match play or two strokes at the first hole in stroke play. Otherwise, the penalty for breach of this Rule is disqualification. 13. Pace Of Play Rule 6-7 will be strictly enforced. Each group must maintain its position on the course with respect to the group preceding it. Any group with a clear hole in front of it will be considered out of position. Penalties will be issued to individuals in such groups who by their pace contribute to such delay. Warnings may not be issued prior to penalties. 14. Suspension of play; Resumption of play a. Procedure will be taken in accordance with Rule 6-8 b,c and d for normal suspension of play( not dangerous situation such as lightning). b. When play is suspended by the Committee due to the dangerous weather situation (such as lightning), if the competitors in a group are between the play of two holes, they must not resume play until the Committee has ordered a resumption of play. If they are in the process of playing a hole, they must discontinue play immediately and must not resume play until the Committee has ordered a resumption of play. If a Competitor fails to discontinue play immediately, he is disqualified unless circumstances warrant waiving the penalty as provided in Rule Penalty for breach of this condition: Disqualification (Note to Rule 6-8b) 15. Disqualification Penalties A penalty of disqualification for a breach of the Rules or the Conditions for the Championship applies to the stipulated round where the breach occurred.

9 16. Prizes Prizes will be awarded as follows. Individual Competition Individual Boys 7 best gross scores of Class A, B,C. Individual Girls 5 best gross scores of Class A,B,C. 17. Championship Result During the championship, Myanmar Golf Federation will official championship result to each organization every day. Result will be offered at club house, Pun Hlaing Golf Course. 18. Currency, Credit Cards Currency in use is Myanmar Kyats. The approximate exchange rate is USD 1.00=Kyats Major international credit cards are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, shops and golf clubs. Pun Hlaing Golf Club receives VISA, MASTER Cards. Money changes are available in the airport, hotels, city in Yangon. Currency Exchange is available at the official hotel. Note:* Clean USD currency is only accepted for exchange. 19. Indemnity/Liabilities In signing the Entry Form, participants in this Championship shall indemnify not hold liable MGF, the Sponsors, the Organizers or the Host Club for any loss or damages to their equipment or personal belongings or harm or any form of injuries that the participants may suffer as a result of the participation in this Championship. 20.
