7 PRIVATE CART AGREEMENT 1. Trail fee sticker must be displayed on front driver s side, bottom corner of windshield. 2. For your safety, and the safety of others, all members must use cart paths when crossing Sun N Lake Boulevard. 3. The private cart owner assumes all liability for any damages incurred by himself or any third party occurring out of the operations or use of the privately owned cart, and hereby agrees to indemnify and hold Sun N Lake of Sebring Improvement District harmless from such injury. The cart owner shall keep the cart insured with a public liability insurance covering the cart with a single liability in a minimum aggregate amount of $100,000 per accident. Loss or damage resulting from vandalism, collision or accident shall be the sole responsibility of the private cart owner. 4. Private carts must abide by all the rules and regulations governing the use of the golf carts on the golf course. 5. Each private cart must be equipped with an approved rake and sand bucket. 6. Carts are not permitted on top of driving range and/or practice tee. 7. Only carts with blue handicap flag may enter handicap access areas. 8. In consideration of granting the use of a privately owned golf cart. I hereby agree to all the above considerations and further waive: a. Any claim for loss or damage to my personal property, or property of third parties, resulting from my negligence or misconduct. b. All claims for any damage or injuries incurred anywhere on the club grounds resulting from my negligence or misconduct. c. This agreement is not binding until accepted by the club. I also understand that in order to have a charge account at the club, I must keep an active credit card on file. 9 MEMBERSHIP POLICIES Below you will find our current policies and procedures for our memberships. Please review the following guidelines so that you are familiar with all of our current policies. We thank you for taking the time to review these and we look forward to seeing you soon! Zero Tolerance Policy: Sun N Lake Golf Club has a zero tolerance policy for any type of sexual or non-sexual harassment towards other members, employees, and guests. If for any reason there is a report of any type of harassment, we will perform an investigation. Upon our findings you may be suspended and or your membership will be revoked from the club without refund. Age Restricted Rate: Any person turning 80, 85 or 90 years of age on or before October 1st, 2017 is eligible to receive the 80+ super senior, 85+ super senior or 90 club rate. Any person that has a birthday after October 1st, 2017 and is going to be turning 80, 85 or 90 must wait until the next membership year to receive the discounted rate. Private Cart: Any member that wishes to use their own golf cart, must provide a copy of proof of insurance that we will keep on file. Once you have provided proof of insurance, one of our staff members will place the current trail sticker on your cart in the appropriate area. If your spouse is using your cart or your cart is being repaired you may use a club cart at no charge. The golf club reserves the right to charge additional fees for abuse of this privilege. Golf Cart Rule: Only active members that have signed a cart agreement and have insurance coverage may use their cart on the golf course. When using the course we ask that you please adhere to the following cart rules. Please keep all 4 tires of your golf cart on the paths at all times around all tees and greens. Keep your cart outside the boundaries of the red stakes on all holes. When approaching these stakes, return your cart to the cart path. If you have a handicap flag on your cart, you may drive it up to the blue stakes near the greens. You may not drive beyond that point. Also, as a reminder, there is no golf cart parking allowed in front of the building or under the canopy. If you do leave your cart out front under the canopy, we will move it to the side of the building. We cannot block the front entrance from other guests, patrons of the restaurant or emergency personnel. Tee Times: All members must check in with the starter or Golf Shop before going out to play. Failure to check in will result in the possibility of losing your starting time for that day. If you need to cancel a tee time or reduce the amount of players in your party or group, please contact the Golf Shop 24 hours in advance so that we may open the tee times to other members and guests. If it is less than 24 hours, please phone or stop by the Golf Shop as early as possible to allow standby golfers the ability to play. Failure to cancel your tee times will result in automatic member guest charge to your account for all missed tee times. Pace of Play: Our team strives for everyone to enjoy a round of golf when it comes to pace of play. Every effort possible will be made for all players to maintain a reasonable pace of play. Please keep in mind that golfer skill levels vary and there will be times (especially in season) when rounds of golf will take longer than they do in the off season. This is directly related to the amount of players on the course as well as the wide variety of skill levels. If you should encounter a slow pace of play situation please notify the golf shop by phone or the nearest ranger or starter as soon as possible. We will dispatch immediate assistance. Special note that when there is a double tee start (teeing off #1 and #10) and the lead group plays the first nine holes in under 2 hours that group may be required to wait at the turn in order for the last scheduled tee time in that block to start. Dress Code Policy: Casual attire is permitted throughout the club house, practice facility, and golf course. Men s casual attire includes collared or non-collared shirts as long as they are not sleeveless. Ladies casual attire includes collared or non-collared shirts. Sleeveless shirts are permitted for ladies. Shirts may not have any vulgar or inappropriate content on them. 10 Charging Policy: When charging to your membership account, please review the itemized receipt to insure that you are being charged for correct items. If you do not sign your receipt you will have to come in the next day to sign your ticket. You will be responsible for any unsigned ticket as well as a 20% gratuity for items purchased at the Island View Restaurant. Membership Leave of Absence Policy: Any member that chooses to take a medical leave of absence must present a letter of application to the manager. There is a one-time leave of absence allowed per membership. Account Balances Over 90 Days: All accounts that have balances due over 90 days we will automatically use any or all credit book balances in your account to cover the charges. You will also be required to keep a credit card on file in order to continue your charging privileges at Sun N Lake. Games and Group Tee Times: Sun N Lake is unique because the club has so many different games available for our members throughout the week. In order for new members and or existing members to participate in these games, they need to sign up or receive information about that game on the club s bulletin board. All groups that receive blocked tee times must have information about the group and or a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board. If your group is not open to new participants the club will not block your tee times. All prices, policies, and rules are subject to review and alteration by the Board of Supervisors.
