1 2017 Whitinsville Golf Club Ladies League THERE WILL NO LONGER BE SET TEE TIMES Two Person Sidekicks o Y0u can designate one person to play with every week. (You can also sign up as a single) o Sign up for a block of time at least 45 min. (example 3:30pm to 4:15) The longer the block of time, the more possibilities you have to play with different people. o Matt will pair up twosomes or singles so you can play with different people every week. o Tee sheet will be issued on Saturday o Season schedules have been made in advance, see below. o GHIN will not be used and is not mandatory, unless you would like to keep it at WGC. o Matt will take care of the handicaps for the league. You could have a different league handicap then a GHJN handicap. 3 May 18 4 Person Scramble In scramble format, each player hits a tee shot and the team determines the best one and everyone then plays their second shot from that position. Continue this process until the ball is in the hole. Two tee shots from each player must be used. May 25 - Karma Golf Each Karma Team will receive a special Karma Ball at the beginning of the round. Players alternate playing the ball throughout the round, recording the Karma Score on the score card while also keeping an individual score for handicapping purposes. Teams returning the Karma Ball at the end of the round will recieve a special treat. Don't lose the Karma Ball! June 1 - Individual Stroke Play Each player will play her own ball and count every single stroke and follow the rules of golf. This will give you a true measure of your improvement throughout the season and will help you to establish an accurate handicap. Players in a group will attest the other players score and post it to your handicap record. June 8 - Nine & Wine Play nine or eighteen and then enjoy some appetizers and wine specials on the patio. This is an individual stroke play event. June 15 - Beat The Pro Bring your best game and and try to beat the Pro's scratch score (No Handicap) for the first nine holes. The pot will be split evenly among those who are successful. June 22 - Contest Holes #1 Most Accurate Drive #2, Closest to Pin

4 #3 Longest Putt Made #4 Closest in 2 Shots #5 Longest Drive #7 Closest to the Pin #8 Furthest From the Pin But On The Green In 2 Shots #9 Shortest Drive June 29 Two Person Best Ball July 6 Red White and Blue July 13 -Mystery Holes For the day's event, five holes will be chosen, However, the holes will be a mystery until you finish your round! July 20 No League July 27 - Heaven & Hell 5 of the the holes will be set up easy (Heaven) and the other 4 will be set up hard (Hell). Individual scoring will be used to determine winners. Good Luck! August 3-4-Club Tournament Only 4 clubs will be allowed: Driver, Spoon or Baffy (1 fairway wood or hybrid), Mashie or Mashie Niblick (1 middle iron), Jigger (9 iron or any wedge), and Putter. Golf cars will be referred to as buggies, and push carts will be referred to as trolleys. Long drive contest on one hole using a wooden driver. August 10 Ladies Open No Official League

5 August 17 Queens on the Greens Closest to the pin contest on Par 3 holes. Players will track their total number of putts from the green surface (using your putter from off the green will not count) and low putts in each flight will win a prize. August 24 Beat the Pro Bring your best game and and try to beat the Pro's scratch score (No Handicap) for the first nine holes. The pot will be split evenly among those who are successful. August 31 Matt s Favorite 5 Holes At the end of the round Matt will choose his favorite 5 holes to score on and those will be the only scores that count! September 7 Final League Night 2 Person Scramble September 14 End of the year Banquet Come out for the season's last golfing event (weather permitting) followed by our annual year-end dinner and end-of-season party. Even if you are not playing golf on this day, you are invited to dinner. Please let us know if you can attend by September 7 th.
