Score posting for local scores runs from April 1 through October 31. Away scores must be posted whenever they are played at a course that is that is in season. Score Posting - Calumet members are responsible for posting their own adjusted scores for handicapping purposes. Both 9 and 18- hole scores are required to be entered into the system. Members must post all scores during the season regardless of what course they play. The CDGA handicapping database includes most Chicago area courses and allows for other course scores as long as the slope and rating are entered. Unfinished Rounds - If you play 13 or more holes, you must post an 18- hole score. If you play 7-12 holes, you must post a 9- hole score. For For Unfinished Holes - Scores for both match play and stroke play (includes best ball events) must be posted for handicap purposes. A player who starts, but does not complete a hole or is conceded a stroke must record for handicap purposes the most likely score. The most likely sore may not exceed the playe This most likely score must be There is no limit to the number of unfinished holes a player may have in a round, provided that failure to finish is not for the purpose of handicap manipulation. Adjusted Scores - The golf shop staff will gladly assist in adjusting your score according to the Equitable Stroke Control (ESC) Guidelines. Adjustments are for handicap posting only. Actual scores are used for all events. For eighteen hole handicaps the ESC is as follows: Course Handicap 9 or less Double Bogey 10 through through through and above 10 Maximum Score Posted on Any Hole Page 7 of 17 (4/3/2015)

8 For nine hole handicaps the ESC is as follows: Course Handicap 4 or less Double Bogey 5 through through through or more 10 Maximum Score Posted on Any Hole Reduction - From time to time the CDGA system may reduce a handicap based on score posting history. If this happens to you, you may be required to play to a lower handicap. This reduction would be based on exceptional tournament scores. See the golf shop for more information. Handicap Index Adjustments Handicaps are subject to adjustment by the handicap committee if it is determined that ect potential ability. Some of the items that will be considered are as follows: Improving faster than the system can react, numerous away or internet scores that are higher than home scores, and manipulation of scores. Penalty Scores All scores must be posted on the day any round is played. Those players that fail to post a score may be given a penalty score that is equal to the lowest handicap differential in their scoring record and if the golf shop is informed of the correct score, that score will be posted as well. USGA rules do not require the Handicap Committee to notify players prior to the posting of penalty scores. Carts & Caddies Carts - Will be allowed during the season weather permitting. The grounds superintendent will make decisions regarding the use of carts. Age Restrictions - allowed to operate a golf cart. Caddy Season - Caddies are available approximately Memorial Day to Labor Day. This schedule fluctuates due to annual school starts and dismissals.
