1 Bellewood Country Club Monthly Newsletter // November 2013 Meet Bellewood s New Golf Professional! Our new Golf Pro John Bonaduce introduces his plans for next year on the Course at Bellewood. Born and raised in Phoenixville, I come from a family of avid golfers. My love for the game began at the early age of eight when my grandfather first taught me to play. My golf career has its humble beginnings washing carts as a kid at General Washington, now The Club at Shannondell. I moved to Florida to work at The Club at Pelican Bay, and received my first assistant golf professional position at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio - home of the Memorial Tournament and known as "Jack Nicklaus' Gem." I gained experience at DuPont Country Club, Rolling Green Golf Club, and most recently RiverCrest Golf Club. I have over ten years' experience in the golf business, and I received my Class A PGA Membership in I am very excited to be a part of Bellewood Country Club. My goals for the golf operation and the Club are about you. I would like to view the members of Bellewood as an extension of my family. Golf Shop Specials! I am looking forward to bringing a fun and competitive tournament schedule to Bellewood, including a two-day Member Guest Invitational and Member Member. With a growing club membership, I also plan to have opportunities for juniors and ladies to either be introduced to the game, or to enhance their skills through various clinics. I cannot wait to start this next chapter in my life and to meet everyone at Bellewood. Please stop by the shop if you get a chance; I'd love to introduce myself to you in person. 2 Bellewood s Fall Family Fun Day was a Huge Success! Thank you to all the members who volunteered their time to ensure the whole day ran smoothly. Thank you also to all the members who brought donations for the Coventry Food Pantry. Ladies, enjoy a special evening just for you! LADIES NIGHT November 8 7pm 10pm Food & Drink Specials, Live Music, Great Company. Guests Welcome. Enjoy a delicious dining experience with five specially selected wines. $72++ Per Person. We have joined a program from one specific provider called Indian Ridge Provisions. Indian Ridge has a very small select group of chefs utilizing Local Beef only in their establishments.

3 Executive Chef Brian M DeJohn explains the new superior new beef available at Bellewood. As part of the recent menu change I would like to let you know that we have started a new beef program here at Bellewood. We now serve our own Dry Aged Beef as well as a new Filet Mignon Steak. We have joined a program from one specific provider called Indian Ridge Provisions. Indian Ridge has a very small select group of chefs utilizing Local Beef only in their establishments. These two steaks come only from specific cattle farmers in Lancaster County because of their distinct specifications. So why are we on this program? Well, the cattle are breed specific (Black Angus), grass fed, and organic, meaning no hormones or steroids are given to the cattle to enhance a steer into premature use. There is small increase in cost of these products because of the very strict specifications, but you are enjoying a much more superior product, and demand is higher for the better product.
