Two different chemicals are required and we will be spot spraying just the affected areas. Fairways are the first priority followed by the tees and finally the irrigated portions of the rough.

5 From the Jeff Karlstrand, Golf Superintendent First, thanks for the many kind words about the current course conditions. I make sure to pass them along to the crew. We began a spray program in mid June to try and reduce some of the weed population on the course. There are 4 species we are concentrating on; clover, nut sedge, crabgrass and goosegrass. Two different chemicals are required and we will be spot spraying just the affected areas. Fairways are the first priority followed by the tees and finally the irrigated portions of the rough. The spray program will probably be done off and on until mid August. As part of this program we anticipate adding some extra fertility as the weeds die off to get the Bermuda to cover these areas. Many thanks to our volunteers who recently helped us with pruning and weeding around the clubhouse and the logo behind 17 green. Thank you hole sponsors as well for continuing to maintain your areas.
