3 FULL GOLF MEMBERSHIP Full Golf Membership is optional in addition to Club Membership. This membership must be paid in full and therefore monthly payments by means of a debit order is not available. 4 MEMBERSHIP PAYMENTS The 2018 membership period runs from 1 March 2018 to 28 February 2019 All Membership subscriptions are due annually in advance (note all Pearl Valley Home Owners have a Club Membership): 1. Early settlement of Club Membership subscriptions will receive a discount of: o 5.00 % - if paid in full for the year on or before 15 February 2018 R o 2.50 % - if paid in full for the year on or before 28 February 2018 R Monthly installments of Club Membership subscriptions are available via debit order only (debit authorization form attached) Please note an admin fee is included in this option. 5 CAPITAL & INFRASTRUCTURE RESERVE FUND The objective of the capital & infrastructure reserve fund (CIRF) is to levy a contribution from every new home owner in order to create reserve funding for future infrastructure replacement needs of the Club facilities and Golf course (note that the CIRF levy was previous referred to as an entrance fee) A CIRF is therefore payable to Pearl Valley upon transfer of a property to a new owner The CIRF is R (VAT inclusive and non-refundable) This CIRF is included in the purchase price of properties owned by the Developer. CIRF is levied on all transactions where a change in the beneficial ownership structure of a property has occurred (eg. change in shareholding of company; change of membership in a CC or change in beneficiaries of a Trust) GOLF CARTS Private Carts All privately owned Silver Carts used on the Estate and on the golf course must be electric and have a decal sticker with the applicable erf / lodge number. Decal stickers can be ordered at The Golf Shop at a cost of R160. Pearl Valley Carts Pearl Valley owned Black Carts are available to members at a discounted fee of R350 per cart for 18-holes (R175 per player if sharing) and R180 per cart for 9-holes (R90 per player if sharing). CLUBHOUSE DISCOUNT Primary Club Members and their direct family (spouse and dependents up to the age of 25) will receive a 10% discount on merchandise in The Golf Shop and on all food & beverage items within the clubhouse, subject to the following: Discount cards for members will be issued on written request to Aletia at aletia@pearlvalley.co.za

6 Only junior members over the age of 14 may receive a discount card (the discount will still apply but under the supervision and card of an adult) A fee of R100 will be applicable for replacement discount cards. For cashless convenience at the club, members can load money on their club account and top-up when need at The Golf Shop 2018 GREEN FEES Green fees are inclusive of 18 holes of golf, a shared cart (except where otherwise stated) and access to the practice facilities (excluding Golf Member s Practice Range) with range balls prior to play. M E M B E R S H I P CA R D S Membership cards will be issued to all new members upon payment of their subscription fees Existing members will, on request, receive one replacement membership card free of charge each year In the event of a lost, stolen or damaged membership card, the member must please notify the Membership Manager immediately The fee for a replacement card is R100 (inclusive of VAT) Membership cards must be presented to qualify for the 10% discount on food & beverage items and purchases in The Golf Shop. N O M I NAT E A N E W M E M B E R Only a landlord in terms of a bona fide lease agreement of six months or longer may nominate a tenant for membership for a minimum period of six months within the membership period which runs from 1 March 2018 to 28 February By nominating a tenant for membership, the property owner thereby relinquishes all of his/her membership privileges for the period of nomination The property owner remains responsible for the payment of subscription fees The property owner must notify the Membership Manager in writing if they wish to nominate a candidate or tenant for membership

8 The property owner s membership may be transferred to the nominee subject to: o All Pearl Valley HOA Levies and Pearl Valley Club Membership subscriptions remaining up to date o Payment of a nomination transfer fee of R1 300 (including VAT) o Completion of the membership application form o Approval of the nomination by the Club. The nomination transfer fee above is applicable to all new applicants nominated for membership or to a change in nomination.
