This is the seventh consecutive year that the proceeds from the Rice Planters Amateur will be provided to our state s junior golf program. I am happy to report that we donated nearly $20,000 since we joined forces with the SCJGA! The SCJGA continues to grow the game and provide us excellent future stars to compete at Snee Farm Country Club and we are happy to be part of their success! 2 46th Rice Planters Amateur June 18-23, RICE PLANTERS CHARITY 2017 Champion Myles Creighton Radford University SOUTH CAROLINA JUNIOR GOLF ASSOCIATION The purpose of the South Carolina Junior Golf Association is to perpetuate the history and traditions of the ancient game of golf through its members, and with an active outreach to the youth of our state. Through affordable opportunities of play, instruction and competition, Juniors of all ages, walks of life and skill levels will be touched by the character of the game; its teachings of honor, sportsmanship and respect; and thereby, are better prepared to face the challenges ahead in life. The SCJGA operates five nationally ranked junior events in South Carolina annually: Beth Daniel Junior Azalea Bobby Chapman Jimmy Self Junior Heritage The Blade Proceeds from the 2018 Rice Planters Amateur will be donated to the SCJGA.
