2 About Memberships at Stowe CC 2018 Golf Memberships Stowe Country Club is a daily fee public facility that offers incredibly value priced seasonal golf memberships. There are no initiations, no minimums, and no assessments. Golfer's enjoy the best of both worlds - resort course conditions and private club camaraderie. First established in 1950, when a group of local innkeepers agreed to build a 9-hole course in Stowe, to be called the Stowe Country Club to help boost their summer business. Shares in the Stowe Country Club, Inc. were offered at $25 each and included the first year s Membership dues. In 1962 the course was expanded to the current 18-hole course and ownership transferred to The Stowe Mountain Resort who purchased all outstanding stock. The Stowe Mountain Resort operated the course until 2017 when the ski operations were sold to Vail Resorts; the management responsibilities were transferred to Two Roads Hospitality who also manage the award winning Stowe Mountain Lodge. In 2008, the Stowe Mountain Club opened at the Spruce Peak at Stowe Community. The year round private Club offers resident and non-resident Memberships including a Gold Membership that allow for summer dues and access to 36 holes of golf including both Stowe Mountain Club s Golf Course & Stowe Country Club, spa, fitness, private dining, valet parking, and Member only programming. Full: Includes a 7-day season pass for green fees with cart plus complimentary Membership in the Men s or Women s Club when reserved prior to December 31, Young Professional: For individuals ages that are not part of a family pass and includes a 7-day season pass for green fees with cart plus complimentary Membership in the Men s or Women s Club when reserved prior to December 31, Weekday: Unrestricted access to golf with cart from Sunday 12:00 Noon Thursday plus complimentary Membership in the Men s or Women s Club when reserved prior to December 31, Weekday passholders may play on the weekends at the accompanied guest rate, but would not be charged an extra fee to play in Club events that are held on weekends. Spousal: Available to any cohabitating adults in the same household. Includes the same pass privileges and Membership privileges as the primary. Children ages (up to 23 with college ID) can be added at a discounted rate. Junior: For youths ages (up to 23 with college ID not attached to a family pass) Includes a 7-day season pass when accompanied by an adult Member or weekday access when playing alone. Does not include cart privileges.

3 FAQ s What Other Benefits are Included? We show our appreciation by offering a Returning Discount off the annual season pass after the first year. Early Commitment - Reserve your pass with a refundable 10% deposit prior to 12/31/2017 and receive a complimentary Men s or Women s Club Membership ($100 value), a complimentary Range Pass ($250 value) as well as a complimentary round at the Stowe Mountain Club provided you have paid in full by March 31, 2018 Members and pass holders also enjoy 20% discount on retail purchases in the golf shop, private golf instruction, & accompanied guest play. Practice Facility - Members may add on practice balls at a volume discount up to 70% off. What is the expected opening and closing dates? The expected start of the season is the first weekend in May and closing is the third Sunday in October, depending on what Mother Nature throws out way. Is walking allowed on the course? Golfers are not required to use a golf cart but it is included in all adult memberships. Are members responsible for operating deficits or capital improvements? No. Members have no equity or right to profits nor are they liable for operating deficits, capital improvements, or assessments. Is the general public allowed to use the facilities? The Stowe Country Club is a public facility. Adult Members are provided 14 day advanced reservations. Junior Members 7 days. What is the Tee Time Policy? During high demand times, the Club may, at its discretion, hold open tee times for the general public. At no point will member tee times be restricted to less than three per hour during normal play. Is there an Accompanied Guest rate? Guest play is welcomed and encouraged. Accompanied guests will receive 20% off the prevailing rate. Can Stowe Country Club Members access Stowe Mountain Club Course? Due to the exclusive nature of Stowe Mountain Club, access is limited to Members and their guests. The Stowe Mountain Club may host an annual Open House for the community to experience the golf course.

4 Member & Club Events Member supported events are an important part of the Club s vitality and Stowe offers a number of chances for you to fuel your competitive fire; but the following events are open to players of all abilities. Members may opt to join the Men s or Women s Club. The Men s and Women s Club dues are $100 and includes a USGA Handicap as well as dues to the Vermont Golf Association or the Vermont Women s State Golf Association which hold weekly State Day Events throughout the State as well as dozens of individual and team competitions. Club dues also provide members reduced entry fees into events. Event fees are used to cover costs associated with event prizes, awards, food & beverage and professional services. Members who pay a 10% refundable early commitment receive waived Club dues for the following season as well as a complimentary round of golf at our sister course, Stowe Mountain Club when all membership fees are paid in full by March 31, Event Calendar Deadline for registration is 10 days prior to event date so that the culinary team has ability to order adequately and so we can adjust the tee sheet if possible. 6 Leagues & Gatherings The Monday Women s Twilight League and Thursday Men's Twilight League start the first week of June and run for 11 weeks. Each league is a 9 hole event followed by an optional awards gathering in Kirkwood s Pub. A great opportunity to play some fun formats and enjoy a night with your fellow members. Shotguns start at 5:30, but may go earlier later in the season to account for daylight. $50 upfront or $5 per week - Club Member $10 Member $45 Public The Sunday Skins is a weekly Gross A-B Skins game that many of the golf professionals participate in. Tee times begin at 1:30. Midweek social events are scheduled throughout the week by Members. These are non-club sponsored play, non-competitive social gatherings; the Golf Shop can help introduce you to the event leaders who are always looking to grow participation. All memberships are non-equity and non participatory. A membership does not imply any right or privilege to participate in or to administer Stowe Country Club's business policies and does not create any vested, proprietary, prescriptive, or easement rights or interests of any nature in land, Stowe Country Club, the facilities or any of Stowe Mountain Lodge's assets. A Member acquires only a revocable license to use the facilities. Stowe Country Club shall have the right to suspend or terminate the privileges of any Member, without refund, if the Member or the Member's guest engages in conduct that is deemed by Stowe Country Club to be likely to endanger the welfare, safety, harmony or good name of Stowe Country Club is otherwise improper or illegal. Stowe Country Club shall be the sole judge of what constitutes improper conduct, but improper conduct shall include (i) violating club rules; (ii) damaging, destroying or stealing property of Stowe Country Club or of guests or employees of Stowe Mountain Lodge; (iii) failing to pay amounts owed to Stowe Country Club in a timely manner; and (iv) abusing, threatening or harassing guests or employees of Stowe Country Club. Stowe Country Club shall not be responsible for loss or damage to any personal property used or stored on Stowe Country Club facilities. A guest of Members will receive a preferred rate only if accompanied by the Member. Tee Time Policy: During high demand times, the Club may, at its discretion, hold open tee times for the general public. Maximizing the use of available tee times during weekends and other high demand periods is critical for successful operation of SCC. If you are unable to make your tee time, please cancel 24 or more in advance. SCC reserves the right to suspend playing privileges of those members who repeatedly no-show for tee times or do not cancel with appropriate notice. Refund Policy: Before the first day of operation, refunds may be issued for medical reasons with proper verification or relocation out of the area. After the first day of operation, refunds may be issued for medical reasons only with proper verification. The amount of the refund is calculated based upon the following schedule: 1-30 days of operation - 50%, 31+ days of operation - 0%. An administration fee of $20 is deducted from all refunds.
