We invite you to take part in all of the following events during our 31st Annual IRTBA Convention in Cancun Mexico! Whether you want to relax or go on an exciting adventure; or you want to network with other attendees there are optional events for everyone! Mangrove Tour - Two Date Options! Saturday, February 13, 2016 & Sunday, February 14, :00 AM 12:00 PM $ per person Discover the secrets of the Nichupte lagoon on this extreme fun and sun experience! Explore the mangrove channels and enjoy the best views of Cancun from the water on this navigated tour. Feel the wind as you pilot your way along the lagoon. *RECOMMENDATION: Guests should eat a large breakfast prior to leaving on this excursion and pack a snack and water. No food or beverages will be served on the tour. 1

We ll have dinner with beautiful view of the ocean at our new home for the week, Live Aqua! *REQUIREMENT: The Welcome Dinner in the registration fee of the IRTBA Convention. HOWEVER, guests MUST pre-register to attend this event to ensure adequate seating, food amounts, and servers/bartenders can be provided for all attendees. You must be a registered convention guest to attend this event. This event will take place outdoors, poolside. Catamaran Sailing Two Date Options! Saturday, February 13, 2016 Sunday, February 14, :30 AM 2:30 PM $ per person As you sail toward Isla Mujeres, you will experience sparkling teal waters and then on to snorkeling at the marine park, El Farito, located on the north part of the island. Eight foot deep waters are teeming with amazing fish and marine life for your viewing pleasure. *RECOMMENDATIONS: Guests should bring a towel and wear a bathing suit, comfortable shoes and/or sandals, sunglasses, and bio-degradable suntan lotion. Catamaran trip includes an open bar with domestic beer (on the return trip only), and a light lunch on-board. 2

3 Jungle Snorkeling Tour Saturday, February 13, :00 AM 12:00 PM $ per person for double occupancy Imagine driving your own speed boat through the jungle experiencing tropical birds, exotic plants, and marine life. Experienced guides will lead you through the dense mangroves to the Caribbean. Cancun offers one of the world s greatest diving and snorkeling areas. Hosting more than 100 species of tropical fish, the Cancun shoreline is protected by a series of magnificent coral reefs that stretch from Cabo Catorce to the border of Belize. The crystal-clear water and abundant marine life of these coral reefs can be explored at Punta Nizuc, which is part of the second largest reef in the world!! *RECOMMENDATIONS: Guests should bring a towel and water, and wear a bathing suit, comfortable shoes and/or sandals, sunglasses, and bio-degradable suntan lotion. 4 Spouses Brunch & Piñata Creation Monday, February 15, :00 AM - 11:00 AM Live Aqua Location TBD Included in Registration Fee; Pre-registration Required Join the Spouse s Auxiliary Committee for our annual Spouse s Brunch, as the perfect combination of fun and community spirit comes together and teams create a masterpiece piñata utilizing different materials. The objective will be to make the biggest piñata in order to fill it with most surprises. Piñatas will then be donated to a local school or charity in need for the enjoyment of traditional Mexican celebrations. 6th Annual Bags Tournament Tuesday, February 16, 2016 Garden of the Senses 12:30 PM $85.00 per person Randomly selected teams of two will test their skills and talents through a friendly competition of bags/cornhole. Whether you are a veteran bagger, new to the sport of bags, or if you re a professional spectator, you'll have a blast at what is now IRTBA s most popular convention event! *Participants must be a minimum 18 years of age. 5 Rube Melesio Convention Golf Tournament SOLD OUT Wednesday, February 17, 2016 El Tinto Golf Course 6:45 AM Shuttle Bus Departs Hotel 7:30 AM Shotgun Start $ per person Sponsored by The IRTBA Convention Golf Outing takes on a new name this year, The Rube Melesio Convention Golf Outing, in honor of the late industry veteran. Rube served as IRTBA s Golf Committee Chairman for decades and helped develop the very first Convention Golf Tournament. IRTBA is proud to re-name this outing after our long-time friend, Rube Melesio. El Tinto Golf Course at Cancun Country Club is the new standard of excellence in Latin America. Attention to detail, world-class service and amenities, and a professional, friendly staff are the hallmarks of El Tinto Golf Course. Environmental awareness was integral to the design and development of El Tinto. Special care was taken with sensitive flora and fauna indigenous to the region, as well as incorporating naturally-occurring water features and elevation changes into this world-class creation. The course boasts wall-to-wall Platinum Paspalum, the Cadillac of grass in this region, as well as 84 bunkers and five lakes. REQUIREMENT: Foursomes are randomly assigned to encourage networking. Golfers are required to provide their golf handicap to assist staff with your foursome assignment. Golf club rentals will be available at an additional cost of $50 per set and golfers interesting in renting clubs must include whether they require left- or right-handed clubs, and men s or women s clubs in the Optional Events sign up form. Golfers will be provided with shuttle bus transportation, which will leave the hotel at 6:45 AM. Those who choose to take their own method of transportation should note the course is located 30 minutes from the resort and they are recommended to arrive at the course at 7:00 AM to get their golf cart assignments. 5

The closing dinner also includes a fun convention awards ceremony, dancing, and entertainment! REQUIREMENT: The Closing Reception & Dinner is included the registration fee of the IRTBA Convention. HOWEVER, guests MUST pre-register to attend this event to ensure adequate seating, food amounts, and servers/bartenders can be provided for all attendees. You must be a registered convention guest to attend this event. RECOMMENDATION: The cocktail reception will take place outdoors on a paved surface in the Garden of the Senses. A formal dinner will take place indoors in the main Ballroom. 6
