2 Dear Friends - What a blessing it is to announce our 9th Annual Waltrip Brothers Charity Championship. It will take place on Wednesday October 17th, 2018 in Liberty Hall at The Factory in Franklin, TN with County Music Star Clint Black headlining the evening. Our Waltrip Brothers Charity Championship golf tournament will occur Thursday, October 18, 2018 at The Vanderbilt Legends Club also in Franklin, TN. With your help these last eight years have been nothing but magical, allowing us to raise nearly $3.5 million dollars for our beneficiaries. We couldn t have done any of it without your support. 3 2018 Beneficiary Motor Racing Outreach Motor Racing Outreach (MRO) is a non-profit organization founded in 1988 by NASCAR drivers and their wives in response to the need for a church for the many individuals and families traveling and competing in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR XFINITY Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Through its work MRO has grown to include various other racing series and numerous local tracks throughout the United States. It will take the combination of teamwork and speed to win this timed event. A team member will tee off, while another team member will be in place on the fairway ready to take the second shot. The remaining team members will be close to the green for a chip and putt. The clock starts when the ball is teed off and stopped when the ball hits the cup.
