3 Dear Family and Friends, With the golf season fast approaching, we are pleased to announce exciting plans for the 2016 Fundraiser Golf Tournament hosted by the Assembly of First Nations. The tournament, scheduled to take place Monday, July 11, 2016 at the Thundering Waters Golf Club in Niagara Falls, Ontario promises to be another fabulous success. Companies, businesses and individuals are invited to sponsor segments of the event in turn for great exposure. Thundering Waters is John Daly s first Signature golf course in Canada. The golf course features the high risk-reward style of John Daly to enhance the excitement for players of all skill level. The attached tournament package includes event details, various sponsorship opportunities, registration form, and directions to the Thundering Waters Golf Club. 4 The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) Golf Tournament s fundraising efforts will be directed to the Youth, Elders and Women s Councils as well as underfunded activities such as Supreme Court Interventions, the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal and many other advocacy efforts. In order to meet our advocacy efforts, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Without the assistance of community-minded individuals just like you, we wouldn't be able to aid those in our community each year.
